There is one bass drummer thats a girl. Kelly. shes good but sjhe cant march, and bass drummers wont ever take over drumline. It's pretty much Tenors that rule the line, that or cocky snares.
But, tenors is the highest honor from my understanding. YAY for my boo!

Our bassline's split with 2 girls and 2 boys. The guys suck monkey butt at it, so we're always yelling at them^^

My drumline is so small, that we all have to rotate around to every instrument. So basically, we already have taken over the drumline. XD We have 2 girls (me and another girl) that are able to play bass drum, but the other girl is a senior, so I'm hoping for a freshman to come and keep me company next year.

My drum line has three bass drummers, One boy and two girls(including me). But, we're a small line and I own the bass drums >D I'm bass one, Abigail is Bass Two and Samuel is bass Three. Lol. But, I think our cocky snares own it. If they mess up, we all mess up. Lol. But, bass's will rule one day!~ heart

Wow this is from 2006! (freshmen year! haha)
Well, now that's it's my senior year, I have officially taken over the drumline as their section leader for the past 2 years! Mwhahaha!
But I am now the only estrogen in the testosterone line : (

Bass 2 - Male
Bass 3 - Female
Bass 4 (me!) - Female
Bass 5 - Male
Only girls in the battery, too. The females dominate the, pit though; two guys. - - -

our line WAS going to be 100% girls but at the last minute a clarinet player switched so now it's 75%.

I dont exactly play bass but my BFF does. I play bells! There are only 3 girls in drumline at my school! I mean seriously, isnt that hella beast?!?!? biggrin wink confused

There's one girl base in our drumline and she's the best!
Like seriously, she better than the other bases.
The pit though, has 3 guys in it. The other 7 members are girls 3nodding

Yes! Girl bass drummers are the BEST! Im not in marching band cuz im in middle school { sad } but the girl drummers WILL take over the drumline & not only cuz the guys will quit for football when it comes time to join marching band but also cuz we're more serious {and kinda better {ok not kinda, way better}}

Our bass had two girls, last year.
The first bass was a girl. She was awesome. She switched to mello though. She marches bass in parades though, because our new 1st bass has heart problems.
She owned that line. And everyone loves her for it.
