Ava strides into the room her three ladies (Anya, Lenore, and Eirnae) have taken to calling the 'Meeting Room'. As she is currently inhabiting Eirnae's body, she has to get reused to the seemingly huge b*****d sword sheathed against her back. 'Won't she ever put this darn thing away?' Ava grouses as she examines the newest banner Eirnae had been working on earlier that day. 'Sheriff Nominations? Don't we have enough sheriffs already?'
And so she decides to read the fine print.
What is this about?
If you visit the HQ often, it is likely that you've seen our list of declared HQ Sheriffs right above where the other Guardians names are listed.

Not to mention the fact that we proudly place this title on the certificates of each of the Fa'e our sheriffs are Guardians to.
The point? The title of 'HQ Sheriff' seems to have lost its meaning. Originally these sheriffs were those who kept an eye on the HQ when Anya could not be present, made sure no rude acts went unchecked, and helped out with the occansional project.
Some of our sheriffs retain their appointed duties to this day, and for such we are very grateful. Let us make it plain that we do not wish to take away this title from those who already hold it, with the exception of Nanakii, who seems to have disappeared from our HQ utterly. No, we only wish to add two more sheriffs to the ranks of those already wearing a star.
Why do we need more sheriffs?
We have a variety of time zones to consider for the HQ crowd, and we feel that the addition of two more sheriffs will allow for at least one sheriff to be present at the HQ at all times to keep an eye on things.
We also wish to expand on the original duties of our sheriffs, but only to the point each individual is willing to accept. In time, we hope for the HQ Sheriffs to be considered as advisors as well as rule enforcers for the Management Crew.
What's so great about being an HQ Sheriff?
There is no pay involved at this point, though as things become more involved we will be willing to discuss such an option. Our crew is very open regarding ideas, so any input about the future of the HQ Sheriffs will be happily taken into consideration!
We can say that for each sheriff we will have a golden star like the one on this thread's topmost banner, wonderfully crafted by Moorgahaine, with their name emblazoned on it. We also will put your title on your Fa'e's cert, as we have for all of our sheriffs. If you have a Fa'e, that is.
As an HQ Sheriff, you will be asked to help us keep fights from happening in the HQ and the Guild, we will turn to you for advice on important issues, and we will all hopefully forge a strong friendship over time.
How do I nominate someone?
Just post who you would like to see as an HQ Sheriff in this thread! Only up to three nominations per person, please. Yes, you may nominate yourself, if you'd like. No, you don't have to have a Fa'e to be an HQ Sheriff, but we would prefer someone who has stayed with us for a while if such is the case.
How will the two sheriffs be decided on?
After the nominations have gone on for a week, we will write all of the names that were nominated down and put them into a poll. How those of the HQ vote will decide whose names will be on the two stars! The Fa'e Management Crew will decide the vote if there is a tie involved.
