Otherwise, just wait it out? I dont think putting lotion is going to help =[] perhaps just lots of sleep and drink lots of water, and try to get rid of any cold or flu you may have.

Stronghearted11 ok, i know this is kinda gross, but today on halloween, i broke out in hives, and idk y! I've never seen someone break into hives and I've never broken into hives. I'm not even sure how or why people do break into hives. Gives me an urge to seek out the truth! gonk
So, I know nothing. Follow Blood's suggestions, those sound good. Good luck with your problem. <3

Hives is an allergic reaction to something. It's a very itchy, red rash. One of my friends gets hives from hay, so you possibly got it from that? The best thing you can do is take Benadryl which is an allergy medicine. Putting calimine lotion on helps with the itching. An oatmeal bath works, too. Good luck!

I had them earlier this year. It was summer time. I got them in June. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me some cream. After about 4-5 tubes of that stuff, it finally faded away towards the end of July.
So yeah, I guess you either wait it out, or go to doc' and see what he/she can do.

I had an allergic reaction to something and took Zantac. I also used this weird lotion that was said to contain oatmeal. I'm not big on lotion, but it worked well, especially on my hands.

It could be an allergic reaction. You should go and see a doctor. OR you could have caught something. There are a TON of skin diseases, but you shouldn't worry too much, a dermatologist would be able to fix you up in no time.
If what you're putting on it doesn't help STOP. because sometimes those "skin medicines" will make things worse. avoid putting on any scented lotions. I think dove soap is the best soap to use when you're haveing skin problems.

Meh, hives suck. Sorry you keep getting them, but if you are allergic to something, it'd probably help to find out what. That way you can avoid whatever's causing the hives! ^^
Okay, maybe that was obvious. Worked wonders for me, though, when I was allergic to some special suntan lotion. Eeew...
