I'm planning on going out to get a new game sometime in the next couple days, and I need some advice. Now, I know that whatever I get, it has to be an RPG. I'm looking for something that'll take me a good, long time to play, has an interesting storyline, and good graphics. That's all I'm looking for. I have a couple ideas, but I wanted to see what other people think before making my decision. To give you an idea of what I like, here's the games I've played and enjoyed before: -Star Ocean: Til The End of Time (just finished 3nodding ) -Suikoden V -Suikoden III -Final Fantasy VIII -Chrono Cross -Azure Dreams And, if you're curious, here's what I own: http://club.ign.com/b/list/custom?lid=100018&owner=risamitsukai&mode=vown If you click on "Saving For..." under "Videogames" you'll see what I've been considering.

Well id definately try ffX, its very cheap right now, or if you have a ds wait till nov 16 to get final fantasy 3, which was never released in north america and is being remade with 3-d graphics, theres alost ff5 for the gameboy advance Or if you want a 90+ hour game, get dragon quest 8, veeeery good and then theres always final fantasy 12 coming out in two days ^^ If you can handle long cut scenes and want a futuristic rpg, look at the xenosaga series Theres always kingdom hearts lol

Hmm well one that I would recommend would be Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Very in-depth and has a really good story to it. cool

These are the ones I've played and recommend for PS2: -Radiata Stories, which is rather short, but good nonetheless. -Final Fantasy X, your quinessential RPG. -Xenosaga, just because

I recommend Romancing Saga; I own it and enjoy playing it. It's got good graphics, good music, a nice battle style, an interesting level up style for weapons and armour and a neat story. HOWEVER, this is NOT a game that is going to give you any easy hints as to what's coming next. After a couple of hours of gameplay my first time, I had to go buy the guide. The various characters all have their own story, true, but mostly the game is a series of mini-quests that lead up to the final battle. I hate mini-quests. ninja

Disgaea for playstation 2 Its a fun addictive Strategy RPG, All of the fighting is turn-based and the characters look like gaia ones razz And theres a second one but play the first one...first? Its also very silly And if you have time to kill, the maximum level is 9999

I reccomend Tales of Symphonia. They say 80+ hours, but that's only if you go crazy with sidequests. The fighting is fun, or at least I think so, and the story rreally spoke to me. But then, it's a game you love or you hate. ^^'

Personally I love love Lunar. <3 But then you might have a hard time picking up a copy cheap, and one that works no less. >_< Plus it's a pretty old game, so the graphics aren't top-notch or anything... but the anime cut scenes are very beautiful!

Diablo, Diablo II, anything from www.spiderwebsoftware.com and Disgaea. All good, and all will eat away at your free time til you DIE.

i myself have always liked the dot hacks, i've almost beaten all of it, i'm on the 4th one now
Dragon quest 8 is pretty fun, the traveling is kinda annoying but i like it =)
um..... if ratchet and clank counts even tho it has guns i had a blast playing that, multiplayer is actually kinda fun on it
the jak trilogy was great, the 3rd one is by far the best
if u havent already try the Knights of the old republic games they're fun, the 2nd one isnt as good as the first but hey, it's an rpg eh haha um...
jade empire is kinda long but it's really fun if u end up liking KOTOR you'll love this game, i know i did, my friend beat it in 2 days
heh these are just some of the games i've played and (almost) beaten i'll have to check my games for others, i have too many XD

Do you own a gamecube? If so, buy Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings, And The Lost Ocean. A very good RPG.

Out of your list id say tales of legendia but to be honest i like the first one way better tales of symphonia i think it just had a better storyline.. anyways if u havnt played any of these you should give em a try : Dragonquest 13,magna carta,or kingdom hearts 1 and 2.. Magna Carta is prolly the one im most into at the moment though but you have to master the battle system sometimes it takes people awhile i think its pretty simple once u get the hang of it though..
