yeh, our band, when in need gets flooded with drumline, saxes, trumpets and wintergaurd.
-7 trumpets -7 saxophones -2 baritones -5 cutting to 4 trombones -1 tuba -2 tenor saxes -too many drumline, 20, can you believe that crap? -2, well i never see the other bass player -3 clarinets, one can double as a tenor sax -10 used to be 25 winterguard -hm... waht am i missing? oh, damn, 2 flutes, and i'm one.
yeh, i know it could be worse but on average a school our size is either a shitty showband(no good ones here cry ) or has a legitimate 80-100. piece band.

We came across some band this year that had 30 trumpets! Only 18 were there, though, because it was their fall break. It was insane & didn't sound too great.

ho geez... uhhh... a LOT? we march about 120 strong at least plus a *smallish* guard of 12 and an occasional dance team of around 15 or so. thats my college.
in high school my senior year, we have about 150 band kids, a 15 member guard, and a 47 member drill team. ya, no joke. 47 dancers on that field... thats a 1/3 of the band right there. it was crazy busy and the dancers were annoying. =/
