Do you think Ghosts exist? Why or why not? Provide valid reasons. And I'll try to disprove them!!! =D No, just kidding. But maybe.
QUESTIONS TO HELP:
-Where do humans go after they die?
-Where do animals go after they die?
-Is there something besides the extremely adaptive brain?
Do ALIENS exist? Maybe, beyond the cover of Hollywood little green men or tortoises without their shells, maybe, are there humanlike creatures EVEN near our galaxy? Same as above.
QUESTIONS TO HELP:
-Don't we have a whole universe plus a few other dimensions to search?
-We have not explored other galaxies yet, and it appears that many planets have had past forms of life. Maybe, younger planets are the ones that have life?

I think that some form of ghost exists. Maybe not the typical scary white sheet thing, but something that only certain people can see in a form that is something like their soul. I think that because there are things that can happen in your house or wherever that Science can't explain, unless it is just our minds playing tricks on us.
Also from hearing that children are more susceptible to seeing them I know a little girl who had a twin that died in child birth. She's too young to know that she had a twin - no one has ever told her - yet sometimes she'll sit and be talking to some imaginary friend and when asked who this is she replies with 'My sister'. Maybe it's just a coincedence I don't know.

*nods* Believing in ghosts and aliens are like believing in a god or religion... except ghosts and aliens offer far more proof of existing.
I don't think it's coincidence when you see things in shadows or feel uncomfortable in some places. To believe that we only exist for a few short years in the span of eternity is a tad ridiculous. What would the point of life be then, if not to learn lessons. I believe in ghosts, but more over I believe in reincarnation. That we were put here to learn a lesson before moving on... but some people get lost when trying to connect w/ the astral plane.
As for aliens. I've seen UFO's... and no I'm not crazy.

You cant lump together a physical and a meta-physical existance, it just dosnt work like that. You cant ask someone if they believe in god, and also believe in bigfoot. It is statisticly impossable for aliens to not exist in an infinatly expanding universe. The belief that Earth is the only planet capable of life, intellegant or otherwise, is not only stupid but downright arrogant. I find it sickening that there are humans who actually belive the universe was created for thier benefit.
Ghost is a whole nother issue, not one of science but of faith. Ghosts are only possable if you believe in an afterlife. Scientificly it is impossable for spectral beings to cross planes of existance, but still, no matter how much evidence you present them with, they will still go: "Nuh-Uh, 'cause god did it!" The ace card in any mindless babble: God did it. Boy is that one getting old.

Aliens I believe in, whether you veiw the subject from a religious or scientific veiw point, it seems logical that they exist. From the science view point, the conditions that are required for life cannot be simply unique to Earth with the sheer size of the universe (and though yes it's expanding, theories say that extra matter is not being created to fill the void as things move apart) there has to be another place where similar conditions occur. And that doesn't take into account things may have come in to being differently, such as life existing using other resources.
From the religious point of view, if god could create an entire world with a simple word, why would he settle for a single race, a single world to worship him, especially one that's supposedly so full of sinners, when he could have as many as he wanted.
As for ghosts, I don't believe in ghosts per se, I don't think they're spirits left behind by dead people, but imprints of the person. Their thoughts or feelings, that have left and imprint. I believe this is possible because the human mind and heart do seem to have the ability to effect what's around them. Take luck for example, a person who believes with all their heart that something will bring them bad luck, will have bad luck if that object or event comes near them or occurs. So who is to say if those thoughts and feelings are strong enough they don't continue after the person is gone.

It is really depressing to think that human life on Earth is the only life that there is going to be. However I do believe in ghosts but not in a spiritual way. Ghosts aren't the souls of the dead but the sounds of the dead. Everything is made of frequency/vibrations. Bridges even have to be created at a certain frequency to stop them from moving with the wind. Radio signals from years ago have actually been picked up by current radio recievers/transmitters. There is even an old saying that nothing disappears but turns into something else. It is possible to believe that vibrations that would normally be out of our frequency range of perception could make it's way into our frequency. However I do not believe that these "ghosts" have a free will of their own but rather are a loop of past events.

I don't know exactly where I stand on ghosts. I think I believe more they may be an imprint on time than souls, because I believe in heaven and hell and all that jazz.
But I definetly had a few creepy experiences in my old house sweatdrop The creepist being I was sitting at my computer by myself and all of a sudden it felt as though someone had tapped me on the shoulder. Needless to say, I freaked out and ran downstairs to watch TV with my mom XD In general though, weird things happened. People would call my name and no one would be home, things got moved around, and sometimes when I was in my room if would sound like someone was walking up the stairs and across the bridge to my room (we had a narrow sgrip and floor that wrapped around the stair case and went back to my room, because we only had three rooms upstairs). I haven't really experienced anything like this since moving into my new house, so I generally just attributed these happenings to ghosts or spirits or something.
Aliens I do believe in... because the idea of the universe being so vast and us being the only forms of life seems ridiculous.

In my personal opinion most of the "haunted building" stories are mostly bull. If you look carefully you notice that in almost every single one of them they go at night. This allows them to manipulate the surroundings better. It can be hard for the viewer to tell whats real and whats fake.

I believe in ghosts because I've seen them before. My opinion on them is that they are imprints of humans after they have died. Sort of like a broken record being played over and over again. I've heard other theories, not saying mine is correct.. but it is a very interesting topic. The ghost I saw first appeared as a bolt of electricity (like an orb) then form into a solid figure as if it was competely human, then dissapear, then reapear. They arent' see through or anything like that. I love ghosts. blaugh
Aliens, the paranormal investigators I know believe in them. Some of the stories I've heard are really neat and from people I know would never lie to me, like my mother. heart I think they do exist, but not in the way humans describe them looking.

Corduroy Magician Believing in ghosts and aliens are like believing in a god or religion... except ghosts and aliens offer far more proof of existing. how do ghosts offer more proof than God and religon? aren't they both intangible beings both claimed to exist by various peoples? do not the protestants claim they have been "touched by God"? as much others say they have been "haunted by a ghost"? and aliens too... people claim there are aliens... but perhaps their eyes are decieving them.. there are plenty of "flying UFO's" but they could be other things...

Of course Aliens exist! the mexicans are jumping over the border on a daily basis, they even are building UFO's now! [joke]
Ghosts, I personally believe in simply because I have witnessed what would be considered a 'ghost', seen shady creatures walking through my house without a sound, had an entire bag of bread dissapear from inside the bag without a crum in the bag in a matter of moments [turned around to grab jelly out of fridge, turned back and bread was all gone and the bag was there as if the bread was in it, it was weird!], I also had my TV randomly turn on multiple times in my old room whilst I slept, but that can easily be disproven with the right information. Other than that I just believe they exist, I cant prove it because I dont have the tools neccessary nor do I have you here to show you when something happens, but as sure as I am sure my p***s is approximately 6 inchs long is as sure as I am about some form of ghosts or spirits exist.
Aliens, I am sure somewhere out there they exist in some form or another, maybe not extremely intelligent but its hard to believe no other form of intelligent life lives in the universe, even if its just a bunch of dolphin like creatures, I mean they are considered intelligent life.
