I hope i havent oversteped the mark by seting these new questions that I feel all crew should ask new aplicants and if I have then I am very sorry.
Crew members should send the following to anyone who wants membership to the guild.
i will post the answers to gain acsess in the TOP SECRET forum.
also the questions set here i have not yet used myself and would like full crew suport befor i start useing them so i will put a poll in the answers topic to see if these are implemented and to see if they need "tweeking"
Hello This is Agent [agent name] of the GIB I am going to ask you some questions before you join.
depending on how you answer these questions depends on if you are granted acsess to the guild or not, so good luck.
I made a few changes.

1. If you are walking on your own in towns and you see a UFO what action do you take?
2. You are sent a PM from an alien or gaian asking if the GIB are "EVIL" or accusing us of being so. What do you reply?
3. what of the 3 folowing sums up why you want to be in the GIB.
a) I want to destroy the aliens.
b) I want to know more about the aliens
c) I want to be the aliens friend.
d) I want to defend the people of Gaia.

I'm not crew, but I've been asked by people about joining GIB. It would be good to know what to say to them. Should I tell them to submit these questions in a PM or something?

That would probably be the best idea because then a crew member can interview them and see if they can be accepted into the guild.

Should I tell them to submit these questions in a PM or something? not yet i require The Iron Magus to tell me what he thinks before we start useing the questions but untill further notice I propose to stop leting in new members (unless they are 95%+ Perfect candidates*) untill management are decided on how to induct them. *perfect candidates meaning would answer the proposed questions "correct"

Ok, just let me know when we're up and running. I noticed that GIB is hiring for crewmember in another thread. I'm not up to it (don't like telling people what to do/locking threads/have no experience), but I'd be happy to help with recruiting, directing people, answering question, etc. I hope I can help out in some capacity like that. smile

♣ ♥ ♠ This is a wonderful idea, and could help us decide if the Gaian in question would be hostile toward the aliens if they were to join the G.I.B., as we've had problems with before. I support this idea.
Edit: I also think we should add the question, What can you do for the G.I.B.? ♣ ♥ ♠

Hm...
If you have an agent you would like to admit into the guild, I suppose it would be okay to interview them one-on-one thusly. Just don't admit them without running it by me first.
After all, I have to add them to the main list if they get it.

Right so, just to clear up any confusion that may arise;
Are all active agents authorised to conduct theese interviews?
What defines the appropriate agent? (I reckon it's obvious enough but just in case...)
To save on Tim's inbox would it be more efficient to place each recomendation in a common thread in a subforum?

As of now, I would advise only crew members attempt to recruit new agents. This may change in the future, depending on how things work out.
