Please follow all forum and guild rules.
0. NEW RULE: If you take an article or a paragraph or an essay or anything from a source other than your own typing you must include a citation [link] to this source, if this source is a book you can just cite it or link a place to buy this book, also I would rather you not post entire writings on a subject; for instance if I went to wikipedia and looked up syphilis and then put everything I found on syphilis from wikipedia in a thread and said, "This is everything I know about syphilis". Feel free to gather information, for instance if you went to wikipedia read the entire thing then typed up things you found important that is fine, but if you include any sentences or pictures from wikipedia then you must cite your sources, also you might as well cite your source anyways just to show that your not making it up. This rule applies to any place you find your information and not just wikipedia, remember taking someone elses work as your own is plagiarism.
1. Always put a poll on your thread, this is a requirement and if you forget multiple times you will be warned and thread deleted, it continues you will be banned.
2. Only post a poll thread or thread that contains some kind of information, we prefer that your thread contain a good deal of information, but if you are for instance listing out United States presidents and there history you can post a thread with a poll of the first president and all the information for people to read, and then post the second next and so on, as if it were a series.
3. Do not post threads with random material, the point of this guild is to learn and memorize more, when someone is sifting through the information they dont want to find a thread were someone says "ChIckeN ScraTch", and thats all with a poll with no options, so please, if you are to lazy to go find something to teach everyone then just find a list of facts and post them if you would like. Also note that this rule applies to the thread titles as well, make all thread titles relate to the information contained in the thread to help people decide if they want to read what is in there.
4. Please do not flame someone if they ask a question that you consider stupid or meaningless, the best thing for you to do is to shut your trap and help them out, the more you help them learn the less annoying they will be to you because they will be further educated. Also note that no flaming applies to all things, if someone is actually causing trouble in the guild then contact a moderator with a link to the incidents.
5. Follow all ToS rules, as your first coin of knowledge from entering this guild I ask that you please read the ToS and memorize it quite well [you may need to read it 2-3 times], do what it takes to atleast know most of it so you can avoid breaking it and know when someone else is.
6. To help the guild I only ask that you post a few threads of information every so often, its okay if your mostly just here for the polls or you just like to read what others have found, but if you can try to find information on your own, places like wikipedia and google are a good place to find this, but also be sure to check more obscure places like libraries and such, and try to keep from giving out incorrect information, since wikipedia can sometimes have incorrect information.
7. If you find someone with false information in a thread, simply correct them in a polite manner, do not flame them out because they have wrong information, simply correct the mistake and hope everyone else finds out that it was wrong. [note that if someone is continously posting incorrect information on a regular basis that they may be trying to sabotage the guild and you can report them to me, they will be judged and then either warned or banned from the guild depending on the circumstances].
8. Lucky number seven, just have fun and try to discuss the information you find!
