Talon_Cut so aang and katara's kid will be the next avatar born with the naturally abilty to do water and air bending easily In the first place the Avatar has to be dead in order for there to be another Avatar. Second, is the Avavtar even allowed to marry? Just curious, since he's like a monk and all, and well monks don't marry.

Acctualy, Aang would have to have a kid in order for the avatar cycle to continue. Why? Because eventualy, the avatar cycle would have gone back to air, and if their are no airbenders, then what? This would mean Aang would have to get married and have to pass on the airbending gene. Plus, who's goingt o say taht he can't get married because he's a monk? Being the only airbender, there aren't any other monks that would say "Wait! He can't get married!" Also, all airbenders where monks. They would have to have gotten married in order for there to be more airbenders. And no, their kid will not be the next avatar.

i believe its the water tribes' turn because we know about earth bending avitar, and fire, and now air. but what about water? so i think it will be the water tribes' turn to have an avitar.

The avatar reincarnation cycle is the same as the order of elements Aang has to learn. If he had to leard air, water, earth, then fire, that's the order the avatar is reincarnated.

First of all The avatar has to die before he comes back.
second of all the avatar's kid isnt the next avatar. that is why they have the toy test to see which will be the next avatar.

I don't know where but I've heard that there are other temples beside the Northern and Southern temples, well they're called -yes the other directions- the Western and Eastern Air temples, and that's where the female air nomads live... well we've never seen a female air nomad nor bender. This is only a rumor, so I'm not entirely sure... but this is what I belive. And yes I know that in the starting of any Avatar episode they show the map of the world, and there are only two places shown where Air Nomads live, as I've said, this is only a rumor xd

*the last airbender*, folks. He's the only one. Mike and Bryan have said, though, that we're going to see the females' temples. I'm really excited about that.
Through I have written a drabble where Aang and Katara's child was born just as he died and that was the next Avatar, but that was a whilllllleee ago.
