"A spectacular one-off Doctor Who concert in aid of BBC Children in Need will take place on Sunday 19 November, at Cardiff's Millennium Centre. ... You're dad's not going to score some free tickets?
Actually, isn't the cheapest ticket only £10. That doesn't seem too bad. Cheaper than the U2 concert my friend is going to, anyway.

You have to consider accomodation in Cardiff aswell since it goes on into the night. It's not cheap by any means, but i know someone who can bunk me for the night haha =D
