Kalec-niichan and I were talking about them last night as well as a bunch of other stuff, but yah. He and I came up with the craziest stuff.
For example, here's the first question for everyone; Do you plan to attend an anime convention in this next year, and which one?
Me, I intend to attend both SakuraCon 2005 up in Seattle as well as Fanime in San Jose, California.
Second question, if indeed you are going to an anime con, will you be cosplaying as anything?
For me, I'm going to be dressing up as my usual Gaian av, complete with Joey-chan, devil tail, goth boots and skirt, ruffled top, Morgana's gloves, glasses, chain wallet, and necklace. ^^;;

I haven't been to a Con in two years...not since I moved to LA. Strangly, I went to AX far more often when I was up north 0_o
I'll probably go to Fanime this year because I should be living in the Bay Area again by the time it rolls around.
I'll also check out Yaoi-con if it's still happening in SF. I went the first two years and had lots of fun.
I'm a little burnt out on Cons. I've been going since Jr. High(I graduate with my BA in December) and, I dunno...anime fandom has really transformed in the last 10 years for both better and worse. Cons are very different now from when I first started going to them....

All the cons seem to be too far away from where I live... But NYC seems like the place to hold these things, so I also get the feeling that I'm just oblivious to their existance.

No anime cons for me. While I'll be attending next year's local gaming con, the nearest anime con is the one in Toronto.. and that's just too far. gonk
