You should know that, Sithis. He's allergic to mead-- leave THAT on the table, and he'll be permanately paralyzed, making an easy target.

He steals his food, and he has a very complex schedule that is not always met.(This makes him a pain in the a** to kill in his house, cause he rarely makes it there. This confuses me, because he could fry the Master Destruction Trainer if he wanted to, and he'd have to run into an army to slow down even slightly.) If you see him again, and ever have the intention of joining the Dark Brotherhood, leave the mead lying around immediately. It's not a crime if he steals it and drinks it.
