I was cosplaying as Haruno Sakura from Naruto, and my friend was Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura, so we had a skit called "Sakura vs. Sakura" to see who was the best xd .
Also, on the same day, I was in a Naruto skit with my boyfriend, who cosplayed as Sasuke, a friend of ours, who was Naruto, and someone we met at the con, who was Haku. We were doing the big fight scene on the bridge. 3nodding

That's so cool! heart How did you manage to do it? Aren't fight scenes kinda difficult to perform? Or did you just randomly pretend to fight or something?^^

I was in a cosplay skit with my friends this summer. We did a Kingdom hearts group cosplay and decided it would be really fun to do a skit. Less than a week before the convention, we still didn't have a skit. We had lots of weird ideas, but no script yet. Finally, I took a whole bunch of ideas, plus random things we had joked about and put it together into one heck of a random script. We had 3 days to reherse before the convention. Sadly, because of the lack of rehersal time, both me (playing Sora) and our Riku messed up our lines, but our skit was still a huge hit at the con and won a prize for best skit mrgreen It's posted on youtube. If you are interested in watching it, you can go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpUIOn2Cy3cThe subtitles were added due to the crowed being so loud, but there is also an unsubed version, as well as several at home practice versions under my account too. 3nodding

I've been in about 3 skits. The best one though, was when I was in my Harle costume, from Chrono Cross, and my best friend was in his Lynx costume, from the same series. This is me and him: http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=336392We had only discussed it, and we hadn't practiced at all. And so he comes out first to badass battle music, swinging his scythe. And he stops suddenly when the music cut out, and Puss In Boots' monologue from Shrek 2 came on, and he coughed up a hairball. He snapped his fingers, pointed down to the hairball, and walked offstage. And then I went on stage, picked up the hairball, hugged it, and skipped off the stage. It was an incredibly simple skit. And short too. But the audience loved it, and we won Best Script and Acting =D All I can say it, if you plan on doing any speaking, pre-record it. It'll make things a MILLION times easier. And keep it short. The judges and audience tend to get restless.

My experiance of cosplaying a skit on stage was thankfully not a typical one. We bombed. Short version? Everyone swore to em we'd reherse at the con becaus eno one wnated to meet before hand. It ws invader zim, our Gaz, a good friend of mine...well she siad she had a costume...her costume was her playing a gameboy with a skull necklace. Dib lookied like dib, so that worked. I played both tak and zim. At the con our dib was too busty with his gf to reherse on friday and gaz in the art room. since neither of them had bothered to even come get their scripts and had still never seen them... I tweeed and palyed. saturday we go less then a half hou o rehersalon before we lost dib again and gaz bailed soon after, they jsut BARY made it in time for the stage call.... gaz got stage fright, dib didnt remeber his lines, and I had almsot lost my voice fromsinging the ntoer ride to the con. It disnt help that the script needed serious wirk... my main tip... Let everyone be involved in the script. Dont push anyone to be in the skit if they dont want to be, but if theyre in, inluce them in all parts of it where you can. Begging some oen to be in a skit... coercing the,...their heart wont be in it. I wanted to do a skit more then just about anything. I think the most to blame for our failer was me. I still ant to do another one... but since none of my friends are willing to stnad beside me on stage, I think I'll jut sit it out.
This is not to discorage you, as I said... ours was atypical. And had we gotten the prerecord advice...we probably would have done MUCH better. If you want to see examples of good skits, check out youtube for sure. Theres an especilly good ailormoon one from katsucon, dun recall the year... but the music is moonlight shadow. Really phenominal...
As for that riku sora thing..... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... sweatdrop I was with ya all the way till the fan service... sorry, just not a yaoi fan. I did pass it on to my best friend whos a major Yaoi, Riku sora fan. Yeahthats ot for my rant. bed time now. Oyasumi. And Break a leg. heart

I was in a very imprompt to skit while my friends and I were waiting in line at AX. My friend (Ed from FMA) drew a transmutation circle on the ground in chalk, and then me and another friend (Envy from FMA, I was Lust) ran away only to be picked up and carried into the circle by a croud. Ed then clapped her hands and killed us. mrgreen

I've been in three cosplay skits now (or so I remember.. xD)
1st one, I did a Saiyuki skit, where I was the Sanzo, and my friend was Goku. We talked japanese all the way, and I wasnt really too good at japanese back then, so the skit got really short, since I was the one who had to figure out what we were supposed to do.. I had really much fun there, people laughed and found our skit really funny! The skit was about, Sanzo going up on the stage, lightning a smoke, then Goku jumping up on the stage yelling "HAREHETA HAREHETA!" and going wild, ending with Sanzo just to stare at Goku and Goku looking at Sanzo, with a face that says "Food?" - Then the next moment, Sanzo slaps him with his paperfan and yells "Urusei, shine!!!" and walking off the stage, leaving Goku back on the stage alone, just looking at the audience in a stupid way, to run out of the scene two minutes later. People really had fun when I slapped Goku sweatdrop And they laughed more when we did our catwalk.. 2nd time we got onto the stage, Goku walked up first with his hands in the air, yelling "GOMEN NASAI" all the time, and Sanzo pointing his gun at Goku's back.. We were really popular with that skit xD
2nd skit, was me as Sanzo again.. Me and my friend figured out the skit on 5 minutes. - Its about a Sanzo fangirl! 1st off I got onto the stage, drinking some "beer". Then my friend who was dressed up like a madeup character, ran onto the stage, yelling "SANZO-SAMAAAAAA I LOVE YOU" and going crazy.. Ending with Sanzo having a Pikachu attack the fangirl and such.. It was messed up, but people laughed. xD
3rd skit is the worst ever.. >__> I was cosplaying Puni Puni Poemi, with two friends (Maru from xxxHolic and Ranma from Ranma ½). We were supposed to do this Battle Royale parody, where it was anime cosplayers who should kill eachother instead of students. It went fine, and the audience (600 people) did get the point and all.. So we are only happy nobody knew our manuscript sweatdrop 1st off we were supposed to use signs everytime a person in our skit died saying "*person* DEAD. 2 survivors left" and such.. We forgot those even though they were right in front of us all the time. 2nd, I was supposed to be the last survivor in our skit, and when everyone had died I should sing the OP to Puni Puni Poemi.. Everything before that had went sorta fine.. - BUT.. I had a bad stomachache so one of my arms were constantly busy holding my stomach, and the other one busy with the microphone, 2nd, My voice sucked cause I had caught a cold, 3rd.... In the middle of the song I forgot what I should sing next. So I had to improvise, and I did that by saying "CRAP I GOTTA PEE", run off the stage and fastly come up on it again.. It was embarrassing cause my friends didnt get what I was doing, but still funny.
No matter how many mistakes you do at a skit, its funny. The 3rd skit almost noone laughed, but yet it was really funny. XD I've decided that from now on, Im only gonna improvise, and not actually make any skit =D Only make a story, that I am to follow, but figure out movements and stuff to say and do when Im on the stage! Thats always cooler!

I was in a Gundam Wing Skit at Oni-Con 06. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EEJeFrmrYcI had NOOOOOOOOO IDEA what was going on. They kinda just contacted me on cosplay.com and said they would pay for my hotel room if I could bring my Heero Yuy cosplay for their skit. surprised Then....while waiting backstage for our group to go on....we "learned" what we were supposed to do sweatdrop quite possibly...the most improv'd skit ever.
