I did back when I was 7 o0;
1109 1/2 martin luther king jr. BLVD.
yeah..I still remember the address, mainly because it was the only house on the block. We could look out our window and watch a live viewing of 'cops' (XD) when some drunk or strung out dude wanderd out of Browns resturant and started trouble. I saw a guy get maced it was..interesting to say the least.
We used to drop cat litter out the window and watch the druggies pick it up and put it in their mouths XDD

Yes Tacoma has changed a lot in the past years- its not as dangerous as it once was. Hilltop is not as bad either- at least you can drive through there now. I am more concerned about the east side though. It's mainly all of the diversity in Tacoma that is causing problems- people are resistant to the change they are experiancing, though it is non-avoidable. I feel that the light rail helped the city immensely. It was once dead before it was placed, but curiosity in the project drew people to visit the downtown area and if residents have observed- the Art Museum, Glass museum and a bunch of new hotels and shops along with the convention center popped up within 3 years after the light rail opened. Also statistics show that riders are way above expectations. We should be excited for Tacoma! I know I am!

I've hear Hilltop is actually getting better lately. I also heard it used to be pretty bad though. I live in the Lincoln District. (South Tacoma?)
