hey I was wondering, would a thick, slightly thick, and or voluptous person wonen espically be able to fit in with the people in Japan and get a hot guy? I want to know because im a little on the thick side and i love japanese guys.

You hear more about foreign guys hooking up with Japanese girls than vice versa. Would you really want to be a housewife in Japan though? It sounds pretty depressing to me.

Depends on how you look at it, and how you were raised. And about thick girls finding men...they'll come to you, if you're friendly enough. People tend to lean towards something exotic.

Don't look at it as thick..if someone is going to not go out with you because of weight, then that's their problem. I'm only 14 and I'm think too but I wouldn't change it. Sometimes I want to be skinny, but I think 'well, if there worth it, they won't care'. THink of the good things..
asian girls, no chest at all.
thick girls got huge chest...

I don't think you can expect the handsome Japanese guys to be less shallow than western guys... sweatdrop sorry to say it... I know it's kind of depressing, because I am on the thick side too...

I know it's kind of depressing, because I am on the thick side too... Ha, yeah, being a jerk knows no race. I wanted to post this before and ask if foreign women in general have a tougher time adjusting in Japan than foreign men? As far as romance goes, men seem to have the advantage. I read somewhere that at least in the US the number of couples made up of an Asian Woman and Caucasian Man are 4 times greater than couples with an Asian Man/Caucasian Woman. But even beyond the romantic aspect, does anyone else think foreign women have a harder time adjusting, or am I just nuts?

What do you mean by 'adjusting'? <_<; Because there's no romance in my life, but I've had very little trouble getting used to living in Japan with the exception of a few train incidents and last night's curry disaster. I'm rather adaptable though. And unlike so many people, I love love love the rush of Tokyo.

I'm rather adaptable though. And unlike so many people, I love love love the rush of Tokyo. Re-reading that, I don't think "adjusting" was the right word. More like "forming personal connections." Do foreign guys have an easier time making friends/acquantances in Japan than their female counterparts? I know it varies greatly from person to person, but on the whole

To be honest, I think that 'thick' girls have it easier than 'husky' dudes. But then again, most of the fat guys that I see in Osaka/Kansai are the typical comic nerds going around thinking that all Asian gals are just wild about white dudes regardless of lack of physique, language skills, real job (sorry, English teacher doesn't count) or hygiene.
One of my best Japanese guy friends always tell me how he admires bigger girls and I kinda sympathize with him seeing how its been about 3 years since I've seen boobies here...*runs away and hides from his angry Japanese gf*
