I have no idea what I'd do if J.K. Rowling or Christopher Paolini just died without finishing their books crying . It would be kind of sad, and I guess I'd probably always be wondering, what really happened in the end...?

Actually Brian Herbert and Kevin Alexander are doing an incredible job on breathing new life into the dune series and they're even finishing the series...but there's so much info and history written down in the notes they could make countless more books.

Well i do have to say that the writing style definitely took some getting used to....and i had nothing better to do with no power, a bunch of candles and books, and nobody to talk to....(caught in snow drift in Colorado when moving away from Utah) crying

Would you rather have a book that's crappy and coming oi=ut sooner, or a good on that takes awhile?

I feel kinda guilty but...I'd be more upset that I never get to read the ending then that they died. Death was natural and comes at many times and in many ways.
It is also inevitible.

WhiteStream I have no idea what I'd do if J.K. Rowling or Christopher Paolini just died without finishing their books crying . It would be kind of sad, and I guess I'd probably always be wondering, what really happened in the end...? You're favorite authors wrote Harry Potter and Eragon? How much more mainstream can you get? Wait...you didn't dress up as someone for the dubut of Return of the King, did you? "To each, their own," I suppose. Oh, and Dune started sucking when Frank Herbert died. That guy was a genius. Hmm.... You know, though, I never did finish one of his books. My only problem with Sci-Fi is that there is way to much backreading. My limit is The Wheel of Time. (My second favorite fantasy series) Vale, -LD
