Alright I'm sure you're all aware of how food can get people in the mood for some sweet lovin', but I want to know what kind of recipies do you prepare for a special night, with a loved one?

For me, I imagine I would cook her a T-bone steak with some mushroom sauce dribbled on top, and a tasty vegitable dish tossed wth some soy sauce. Maybe a side of speghetti, to try and get a Lady and The Tramp type effect going. Then, to finish it all off, a a nice piece of chocloate cake for dessert.

Hmmm.

I think I'd serve a white meat chicken stir fry, with a green salad. Simple meal. For dessert, perhaps a key lime mousse.

Very light meal, so we have plenty of energy for... later.

And a snack for the middle of the night.... here comes the chocolate! Chocolate tarts, with a cherry or two on top.

I'm with Ballerina on this one.
Curley fries now.
Make her think you're poor, but still sweet...
Then, when she least expects it... BLAM!
T-bone steak on the table. :3

I like desserts. You know, strawberries covered in chocolate or ice cream in whipped cream....or just whipped cream >D

So it's not really sensual, but my boyfriend will worship the ground I walk on whenever I make him slow cooked barbeque ribs. I bake them for 5 or 6 hours so they just fall off the bone...he drools, and then always says, "I have the best girlfriend ever!" smile Aww. heart

I'm sorry, but chocolate and honey are both no-nos. Too sticky and messy. Whipped cream from a can, definitely. Some fruit, perfect. Seafood, GOD yes. It's like, joygasm on a platter. *drool drool*

When it comes to seafood, I reccomend some mussle, shrimp, crab, etc. Only shellfish. Never use fish fish.

I'm with Lones. Anything that can be fed by hand is very sensual. And if it's a little messy, well, spills can be... licked up. That's what makes it fun!

But more seriously, take a leaf out of history, like the Greeks. If your lover works all day, eat beforehand. Then, make a tasty meal that's light (as Mustang suggested), have a favorite mood-setting movie or television program on hand. When your lover comes home, set them up with the TV, sit near them (chicks, wear something nice that'll set the mood. Guys, take off your shirt or something), and feed them dinner. Afterwards, have dessert, something they love--it can be just about anything, though traditional aphrodisacs like chocolate and strawberries couldn't hurt.

It is a lot of work, but it's completely worth it.

Bacon-wrapped shrimp.

Okay, so again, this isn't really sensual, but my boyfriend flipped over it. I fried bacon and wrapped it around cooked shrimp. Easy as that. He ate one, closed his eyes and said he was in heaven. "We're so having this at our wedding," he said. We're not even engaged, lol. It was really cute how much he loved it. heart

wow you like your meals hearty!
but the problem for me is if I eat something that thick it tends to put me in diegestion mode!

naww when it comes down to it the lovin food for me has to be delicate with a good appatiser (kinda like forplay) then the main coarse (something with a wicked surprise in a ok package...hmm sounds familuar somehow...) then desert (gotta make her happy somehow) blaugh heart
