Which did you like more? The manga of CCS, or the anime? How about TRC? Which one, which one? Each have their pros and cons, but I'd have to say I'm more of a manga person. What about YOU?!?!?!!?!

Manga for both series. Through outthe manga the style is nice and the story isn't as... eh. Plus, the anime people tend to get lazy and their animation looks crappy a lot when they halfass all the nonimportant parts/episodes. CLAMP is patient and hardworking, it looks to me like they almost never halfass what they draw. I'm a big drawer myself, and I've made a lot of comics, so I know that's a pretty hard thing to do.

Agreed. The manga looks way better, and the stories are more interesting and such. I remember when I first watched the TRC anime I was like, this looks sloppy. It's like they gave a child the pen and let them run with it.
I'm a drawer too and it takes me almost two hours to get a picture done right. It would take me more if I had better things to color with but alas, I'm stuck with Crayola. XP
I'm getting a scanner for christmas though, so I'll upload pictures then. You'll get to see the pics I drew for Airbender's FF's...
Anyway!
With CCS, I haven't read all of the manga. I've only read the first 6, or first half of the series, and I have to say that the anime is just about as good. They leave everything in, and their added episodes are fantastic as well.

CCS, to be perfectly honest, I really never read. I read probably one volume, maybe two at the most, and watched the dubbed until I just couldn't take it anymore. I've only seen two anime episodes. The only reason I know so much about the series and essentially feel like I've actually seen/read it is because I spent so much time reading summaries and the like.

TRC, on the other hand...I've seen and read, though I gave up on the anime around 21 because youtube was being stupid and skipped ahead to 32, then 37. >.>

I liked the manga in both. The extra art is beautiful and original (my CCS artbook is one of my most prized posessions), and the actual manga always looks breathtaking. Animation...in the words of Syao-kun, is often half-assed. Still, that chibi episode was priceless. xd However, I simply adore the anime's soundtrack too much to dislike the television version. Plus the voices are AWESOME. heart For the most part, anyway. ^^

Well, For CCS I liked the Anime, only because I only read The last ten books for it, the entire series of CC I watched on t.v. If I'd read the book, maybe it'd be different, but my library only holds the last ten books of CCS.

As for TRC, definently the manga. It moves alot quicker. Though you don't get some of the episodes that episode 49 wasn't in the manga, but I've always been more of a manga person than Anime. Probably because I can bring the anime with me and will get more time to read it that try and sit down to watch it.

Manga. For both.

I'm quite a few episodes behind on TRC, unfortunately due to my vacation. But I agree, it seems half-assed at times. But the chibi-episode was my favourite.

The art for CCS is beautiful, and although I don't own an artbook like Phi, I do have replicas of the Clow and Sakura cards, and a lovely set of tarot cards with CCS art pasted on them. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the ending of CCS, because the episodes aired on TV that I saw in China only went up to a little of the beginning of Master of the Clow. I remember the fight with Yue was there, but that's it. My DVD version cut off all the endings, so I suspect something got cut off. I did, however, read the manga ending. <333 (And managed to shove it in everyone's faces...-__-)

I think the TRC anime changed too many things for my liking. Sakura waking up ahead of time was just...blarghhhh. And I honestly thought, that when they switched around Piffle and Shara/Shura, Piffle was a filler world. -__- (Before I read the manga. ^^; ) They made it so obvious that Suzuran and Soseki loved each other, too, it was just like...'How dumb do you think we are?'

But I still continue to watch the TRC anime anyways. ^^;

I wonder if they'll try and fit Tokyo in...

In TRC I like th manga better because I cant find the anime in english and I don't read fast enough. And CCS I at this time don't have a prefence to which I like better. Unless the anime is in Japennesse, then I like the Manga better.

the manga for both series, definitely. i feel the animation for TRC is REALLY sloppy, and they don't seem to know where they're going with the plot. confused they're using way too many fillers as well.

as for CCS, the anime was okay. i just like the art much better in the manga. plus, meiling was in the anime. RAWRRRRGHH I'LL EAT YOUR HEAD, YOU EVIL LITTLE BRAT the ending in the manga doesn't just leave you hanging like in the anime. ^^;;

Agreed Uzbasakura-san, the CCS anime ending leaves you hanging sooo much. Granted, I've only watched up to Ep 52 (with 69+70).. Damn youtube cut out half the episodes. But I love Meiling!!! She's so adorable!!

I really have a bad habit of doing that. Meiling is probably older then I am... but she's probably shorter then I am, cause I'm tall for my age.. There's a girl at my school, she's about 9 months older then I am, but since she's a foot shorter then her, I have the really bad habit of calling her kawaii..

I would really appreciate if you were at least semi-literate, I remember that in my rules that was the second thing I asked.

I'd have to say that I think the TRC manga's better because it's much more...original, for lack of a better word.

I don't mind the anime, but I prefer the TRC manga because I like the artwork and the details. The anime takes it away because, okay, there's colour and movement, but in the manga the brush tip makes everything look elegant and sort of...whispy, I guess.

Plus, the anime changes a lot of scenarios. I know, I know, they do that in a lot of animes, but I prefer the ORIGINAL adventure.

As for CCS, I haven't read many of the manga, so I don't think I can judge.

I'd have to go with the manga, since I'm more of a manga fan when it comes to comparing adaptations. I've only seen a handful of episodes from the anime (I used to follow it when I was on dial-up, but I stopped after episode seven), and it didn't look too bad. The filler I saw didn't really make sense, so I guess that's what drove me away. I recently downloaded episode thirty-seven, and it looks...interesting, to say at the least. XD;; @__@;

Manga-wise, it gives me a reason to practice my Japanese if I read it, and err...there's something appealing about manga as a medium that draws me to it. I don't think I'm making much sense, but...eh.

I like the manga in TRC... the anime is really slow. But I love the voices and songs!!!

In CCS... I dunno which I like better.. the anime has about 10000 more really squeeable SnS things... but the manga is more precise and less beating around the bush (what happens when you change 19 into 52)
