In Holland where I live (Amsterdam) was a gay guy punched in the face, just because he was gay. I read about it in the paper the other day... It just so happened to be on the day that gay/bi/lesbian people were standing up for their rights. A whole bunch of them/us was standing on a stage, making out. heart I missed it, unfortunately.
But later that day some guy just got punched after he was been asked about his sexuality...
I just think thats insane... >_<

Yea and over here in Vancouver, Canada a Gay Guy got killed in the park. he was beaten to death because of his sexuality.. i think this seriously needs to stop. Im even scared to tell anyone at school cuz if certain people know then i will get into fights.

Most people that are Homophobes act like this because they fear they will sucum to becoming gay or bisexual, so in order to push away from such choice (In fear of rejection from others) they reject gay people to have a fake dose of self assurance for later use when but on the inside they die a little bit each time.

Its terrible that some homophobes will resort to violence against us. These people are sick... just ******** sick... and deserve to be slapped right back.
And that man who got killed.... thats so awful! No one has any right to take the life of another... and out of prejudism! Thats horrible!

Our world today is nothing but violence.
What about freedom of speech?
What about our rites?
That protest was a good idea. I wish i would have at least saw it.
I am bi myself.
....BI AND PROUD.
What we need to do is form larger groups of Gays,Bis and Lezs and stand-up to those violent homophobes.
I am outraged.........

No one should have to be afraid of harm because of who they're atracted to. I mean, I let everyone at school find out I'm bi, but that is more out of stubbornness than bravery. I dare them to start something with me. It would actually be quite interesting to find a guy who had no qualms about hitting a girl, because when I have to, I hit back. Hard. Not just for me, but for all my closeted friends that are afraid to come out because of the harassment they might have to endure. If I can make the school safer for them, I'd fight every bloody homphobe in the place. This is insane! No one should have to be afraid to be themselves! I know this isn't a recent development, it's a story repeated throughout history, but it still never fails to move me to anger. Instead of letting it get you down, let it motivate you to take a stand. It won't be any time soon, but someday we'll all be safe from harassment. Someday my friends won't have to be ashamed of who they are, or refer to being gay as "the problem they have". And I'm not giving up until that day is reached. ...sorry about the over-emotional-ness. I get very worked up sometimes...
