After a long and refreshing sleep from yesterdays endevers, Chu'mana had taken to wandering around most of the day. Thinking to herself half the time she walked. Most of the time she spent looking at the wonders of the world around her, how the view of everything in her eyes had changed.
As she walked, she'd flick her curly grey tail lightly, her ears swivling here and there as she listened to the sounds around her. She made her way into an area near some fresh looking water, just of the sight of it started to make her thirsty. Not haveing really stopped anywhere to drink and eat before, she decided now might be the right time to do so.
Not noticeing the other mare in the area, she trotted her way over to the crystal clear water and lowered her had to drink. The water running down her throat soothed it's dryness and urged her to drink more.

Ever's head went up when she spied the odd colored mare moving towards the water for a drink. She had not expected anyone to travel this far north and was mildly surprised to see anyone at all. Her eyes narrowed as she looked over her carefully.
The mare was a very striking, her fur being mostly black but with bright green swirls and bands on her rump, neck, and legs. Her mane and tail seemed medium length but with masses of curls of and waves that drifted like the silver of a cloud. There were strange cuffs on her near her hooves and Ever wondered how any Soquili could walk with those things on.
She had definately not met one like her before and she was hesistant to even walk up and introduce herself. It did not take her long to make up her mind and she was finding herself making her way towards the mare with a smile. "Hello there, stranger. I have never met you before, nor anyone like you. My name is Ever Sacrafice. And who might you be?"

Chu'mana's head snapped up quickly, being slightly surprised by Ever's sudden appearance. Or she might of been there before, just that she hadn't noticed her there. The call of the cool water had clouded her mind with thoughts of only takeing a drink.
Turning her head slightly, she looked at Ever with her bright green eyes, her tail giveing a few flicks. Licking her lips slightly of the stray water that clung to them, she then smiled and bowed her head slightly.
"Hello there. I don't believe I've met you either. Nor anyone like me hm? Well, I've never had anyone say that to me before.....though maybe they have. Sometimes I can't remember things as easily as others...." She giggled lightly, closeing her eyes for a moment. "My name is Chu'mana. Nice to meet you Ever Sacrafice."

She dipped her head down, tucking one of her front legs down in a small bow, "The pleasure is all mine." Her brows seemed to furrow down a bit when she came back up. She trotted around Chu'mana, looking her over with a very perlexed look. She had not noted the rainbow ribbon tucked near her ear and the marks looked different closer up.
"Exactly," she started off slowly, "exactly why are you colored like that?" One ear stayed alert while the other flicked down and back up in confusion. She definately had not met any Soquili that was colored as strangely as this one. Her max number she knew was four and most of them had seemed quite normal, aside from her Wind friend.

Chu'mana blinked and raised an eyebrow at her question. She watched as Ever trotted around her, her tail giveing a few flicks as she watched in curiosity. Though it was Ever's question that threw her off a bit.
"Why am I colored like that? Well....I'm not sure really. I was born this way you see." She looked at herself for a moment, atleast looked at herself the best she could. She was odly marked, but no one had really asked her why she looked the way she did. "Is it a bad thing?" Chu'mana hoped not. She would die if the way she looked was a bad thing.

She shook her head, her mane moving about and becoming a mess as it usually was. "Oh no. It's not a bad thing. I just... I've never seen markings like that on any Soquili when I was growing up. Bays, palaminos, black... But never green markings. You must be quite special for the Gods to have given you those markings."
Her eyes narrowed on the odd cuffs next, her head dipping down so she could get a better look. "Where did these come from though? They look overly warm and removable. I'm curious as to where to get things as strange as these."
She had little clue as to what anything was, being very new to the area and having only met a few Soquilis that had the same attachment as herself, the dreamcatcher. The ribbon and the cuffs were all new to her and she was curious to learn more about them.

She smiled brightly and giggled just a bit. Phew. Well that's a relief. At first she was worried she'd have to run around with mud all over her if her markings were a bad thing. Eyeing Ever slightly, she smiled. "Well, I'm sure as you get around you'll see other Soquili with even more odd markings than I."
Looking down at her cuffs, she examined them for a moment, lifting a leg to give them a good examination. "My two legger bought them for me from a tradeing place the two leggers have. As well as this bow." Turning her head, she smiled and flicked her ear makeing the bow move a bit.

She tilted her head to the side as she brought it back up, still confused with what was said. There were Soquili even more strangely marked than this one? And what was this about a trading post? Her eyes were wide when she listened to her speak of a two-legger. "You have two-legger too? But aren't most two-leggers hunters and bad?" This was completely different for her now.
She shook her head in disblief. If two-leggers were indeed a bit more friendly, then last week, she had no reason to be scared of the village. Of course, she could have been right at the beginning about them being dangerous, only this mare could tell her otherwise.

Chu'mana giggled and shook her head at Ever's comment about two leggers being bad. "Well, there are ones that are hunters yes, and some that are bad. But I've found that most two leggers are pretty nice in all actuality."
She told the truth as she saw it. Sure some of them could be mean but most of them she had encountered were really nice. "Sometimes the two leggers will carry around apples or carrots and they'll give them to you."

Her light blue eyes slowly got wide as Chu'mana went on. So not all of them were bad, but you couldn't really walk right into a place an expect kindness either. Ever bounced a bit at the mention of carrots and apples, "My two-legger usually brings me carrots as a snack. I haven't gone to see her for some time," she trailed off quietly to herself.
She was wondering what other information she could get out of this mare. She seemed to have been around the lands and back again. "What of a large gathering of white shapes that tower like trees? Usually there's smoke rising from it and many two-leggers and a few Soquili. Is it safe there?" She was referring to the Kawani Village she had almost run through to escape from wolves. Being so new to the area, Ever was clueless on the ways of her home. She flicked her long flaxen tail idly.

Chu'mana giggled and raised an eyebrow at Ever. Was this mare for real? Well, there were those who weren't all that familiar with the two legger ways.
Flicking her tail, she gave Ever a sideways glance. "You mean the homes that the two leggers live in? They're pretty nice. You can go inside them if your two legger allows you to. A nice change from liveing outside all the time. Though my two legger doesn't let me in often as she's got a lot of stuff in there that she probably thinks I might break."

She pawed at the ground, so much information at once. The rules had been changed on her, but she had set her own when she started to journey across the lands beyond the mountains. Her eyes widened again at the mention that she could actually go into a teepee if her two-legger allowed it. "How come I never knew this before? My two-legger lives on her out in the forest where the mountains part. I don't think she's ever journeyed past her new home."
She looked at the ground, bemused and wondering if there was anything else that she had missed or was not knowledgeable in this new area. "So two-leggers can act just as differently as Soquili, eh? I never knew this. I never knew anything. I grew up alone and journeyed here only recently." She offered her a very bright smile, "Thank you."

Chu'mana giggled and looked at her still with an almost "Is this for real?" kind of look. Shruggling lightly to her question she just smiled. "Well, some Soquili are just born into the care of a two legger so they know how it all works really by the time they're older. Those who were born out in the wild don't fully understand that concept untill they experiance it for themselves."
She shifted the weight on her hooves and looked around for a moment before looking back to Ever and nodded her head. "Yes, Soquili come with many different personalities. Some good, some bad and some neutral." Nodding her head she smiled in return. "You're very welcome."

Ever chuckled and bounced like a two year old filly ready to go off and do some adventuring. "I feel like such a foal. There's so much here that I never knew could be possible. It's almost like a dream, but dreams do come with nightmares as well." She sighed happily and then looked at the rainbow colored ribbon carefully.
She knew she was asking alot of questions, but this mare so far seemed to have the answers. "Why the bow though? I don't understand it. Is it something special? Does it have magical properties blessed by the Gods?"
