History: A boy of vengence, Moon-Soo's father, Kim Yeon-Hwan, was the keeper of an ancient scroll of fighting that only true followers of martial arts would understand. While unbeknownst of this scroll, Moon-Soo had returned one day from his high school only to find his own home and Do-Jang had been broken in.
After he had found his mother wounded outside, she told him that the man was still in the Do-Jang with his father and older brother, Kim Tae-Hwan.
She soon passed out in his hands as Moon-Soo slowly placed her head on the ground. Turning towards the family Do-Jang and walking towards it, he then witnesses Tae-Hwan being forcefully thrown out of the Do-Jang. Passing out before Moon-Soo could rush to his older brother, he sees two men in the Do-Jang.
As he entered the Do-Jang, he saw the two men more clearly: his father, Yeon-Hwan, and an unknown man, wearing a red suit with a white shirt underneath and a ponytail haircut. Once calling out to his father, the man then gave Moon-Soo a cold stare as he slowly walked towards the confused boy.
Yeon-Hwan, while being a very strong fighter and focused martial artist, had no chance against this mysterious man. While knowing this, he could not risk his son's life for his own. Unhesitantly, he rushed towards the man, only to have been knocked back down to the wooden floor.
Moon-Soo then filled with anger as he rushed towards the old man, only to be knocked to the ground as well. While unaware as to how he had fell to the ground, he looked up to see the man's palm still out after the attack.
"Give me what I want." said the man, speaking in Mandarin. Yeon-Hwan began to speak in a broken Mandarin accent, saying, "No matter what you do, I never give you scroll!"
The cold eyes of the mysterious man slowly looked towards a downed Moon-Soo. Walking calmly and slowly to him, he soon placed his foot and slightly stomped on his head. "If you do not give me what I desire, then your son's life will be the price." Moon-Soo, while trying to fight back, was not able to move in anyway, as if his whole body was paralyzed neck-down. The mysterious man seemed to have known this as well.
"Please! Don't!" "Will you cooperate?" "Y-yes... I tell you where scroll is." With that being said, Moon-Soo felt the hardness of the man's boot lighten in weight.
"Scroll behind sign. Up there." Yeon-Hwan then pointed to a sign that was held right infront of the Do-Jang room. The man then began walking towards the sign. After moving the sign in a violent manner, he gazed onto a mysterious scroll as he grasped onto it. Smirking, he then left the Do-Jang, ignoring both Yeon Hwan and Moon-Soo.
Moon-Soo, beginning to gain his feeling of his body, slowly crept weakly to his father. Yeon-Soo, knowing his time had come, could only tell Moon-Soo his love towards him... and a name.
"...... Feng...... Wei......" With that said, Moon-Soo felt the life of his father leave him.
Three months have passed and after having a detective from Hong Kong investigate the Do-Jang, he told Moon-Soo that similar incidents have happened all around both China and Japan. After only having a clue of the man's next target, Moon-Soo left his family and friends as looked foward to defeating Feng-Wei at the King of Iron First Tournament 5.
