As we all know, by the time Brawl comes out, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will already be out in the U.S. and Japan. So does anyone here think that they might try to include some Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl in Brawl?
I think Lucario would make an awesome playable character.

There is a hight possibility that that would happen. But, most likely they would come out of the Pokeballs. I don't think they would have been around long enough to be playable. And if they are when brawl comes out, I might just feel stupid.

Well, I have some good news, and some bad news.
The good news is that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will come out in Japan in September.
The bad news is that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will come out in America in Spring 2007...
I know Brawl also does not come out until 2007, but does anyone know when in 2007 it is coming out. Because this could affect whether or not Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl appear in Brawl...
Also, if any Diamond and Pearl Pokemon is going to be a playable character, it is going to be Lucario. He was the second Pokemon from D/P to be revealed. Munchlax was the first, but I don't think anyone wants to play as him. Furthermore, Lucario has already been the star of a Pokemon movie in Japan. Think of him as the Lugia of D/P....that, and he's a Steel and Fighting type. He just would make a really awesome addition to the Smash Brothers line up...and I think he is probally popular enough to be considered.
I know I want him in it.

Only if they remove some other Pokémon. I don't think any franchise deserves over 5 characters in SSBB.
