As it wasn't said before, Happy New Year Everyone! Even though at this point that is rather belated.
Pending March 2, the DTAAY Guild is going to have some revamping done. There will be new banners, thread clean up and maybe even a contest or two. We haven't been as active as we were in past and I'd like to change that so we have an active thread and guild.
So any fun new ideas or thoughts for the guild, post them up! I'm ready to hear them

I know Black Briar sent out a notice earlier about finishing the art for the art auction. But, since Derilyn was asking about the art yesterday, I went ahead and sent another notice.
If there are any issues regarding not being able to finish the art (such as being busy with skool, exams, family issues, personaly issues, etc.), please let us know. It's understandable.
Derilyn has suggested negotiating and adjusting the payment.

That's right. In case you didn't already know, the original DTAAY thread is currently going through migration and pagination. The thread is stuck at page 6700 and will not let other's see the most recent posts. In addition, nobody can make new posts.
The general error message reads as follows:
"The topic has not been paginated yet. please wait a few minutes and try again."
Trust me when I say I've waited at least two weeks for migration to subside.
If worst comes to worst, DTAAY will have to start anew . . . AGAIN. Or perhaps create a temporary thread until migration (or, as I'd like to call it, anGaia PMS) has resolved itself.
In the meantime, please feel free to post in our neglected DTAAY Guild. It needs all the love and nurishment that it can possibly get! heart

I don't really belong with the DTAAY...I have been neglecting my duty as the 'owner' so I have chosen to give up ownership to Black briar, she seems to be the most active MOD. She's done alot for the dtaay. Maybe I'll come back again, but I doubt Briar would be willing to give back the ownership after awhile.

As you may know, this thread was moved to one of the Guild forums some time ago on the grounds that it was a hangout thread more than a game. As a personal favor to Turiko, it was moved back to Word Games, if and only if the thread would cease to be such a chat thread. Since that time, myself and my fellow moderator have given several warnings about the content being posted in this thread. As the terms of this thread's continued placement in Word Games have not been fulfilled, even with warnings given out, the moderators of the Art Freebies forum and I have decided that this thread will be moved to that forum.
The Art Freebies forum is, as its name implies, a forum for users to draw art for free or for fun; and it has been agreed upon that the DTAAY game may be allowed to be played there, as an exception to the sitewide rules that all games that do not have a monetary prize belong in Word Games. (A similar exception was made in Avatar Talk for the "Rate the Avatar Above You"-type games.) However, it should be noted that there is already a DTAAY game in the Art Freebies forum--the moderators of that forum have informed me that having two will not be an issue. Please contact me if there is any problem in that regard.
I recognize and acknowledge that this thread is one of the most highly-frequented threads in Word Games, and for that, you have earned the respect (whether given easily or grudgingly) of all the patrons of this forum. Truly, not having this thread in Word Games will take some getting used to, and for that inconvienience, we offer our empathy. However, the rules outlined in the Gaia Online Terms of Service, and the ruling decided upon by the moderators of the above mentioned forums must be enforced--it would be an act of favoritism, or worse, to allow this thread to stay when similar (hangout-type) threads in General Discussion have met far worse fates (the Chatterbox is where many of them ended up).
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please direct them to myself or Jupernia, and we will make certain to get back to you as soon as possible.
