I was just wondering about your opinions about the Illegal Immigration problem that has been occuring this past year.So many people gathering in an effort to either Close the border or open it.What will it cause if it is opened?Closed?
Certain pieces of information to consider:
If for the opening of the Border:
Consider what might happen if the US opens its borders to Mexico.Just anybody can enter.Thugs,even.That might cause some problems with smuggling,and crime rates.But also doing so might open the door to severe over-population!!
For closing of the border:
Look at where these people live.The condition of where they live and what they have to do to survive.I would definitely not put it past those people with troubled pasts to cross over,be it illegal or not.

This is a somewhat "never" of an idea but what if we aloud a small group come in every decade or something like that? That way, they won't be flooding into our homeland but they'll have a legal chance at getting in...

I realy havent chossen a side so at the moment Im nuetral on the subject. I also dont know a lot of the facts behind it. But from what I have heard the security they plan to use for the borders makes crossing it seem like something out of mission impossible. If America whats to beef up its security a little Im fine with that but my concern is how much will this added "protection cost"?

Something defiantly needs to be done about illegal immigration. Obviously whatever America has been doing at the border hasnt been working. At all.
But instead of just beefing up the border patrol, something should also be done to make legal immigration easier. That way instead of just trying to flee across the border, people would actually attempt to come here legally from mexico more often.
I dont know, its an iffy situation. No matter what is done regarding illegal immigration, theres going to be consequences.

I'm not against it.
I think that if they want to live in a country that has better living standards like ours might compared to where they came from, why not? Some of them can do great things for our country. From what I hear the citizen test does what, checks if you can recallll when the magna Carta was signed?

I agree with these points. Also, it already costs millions of dollars for the border patrol we have right now, and they still get through. Obviously it's not working, and I don't think we should spend even more money on it. I agree with making it easier to become legal. Consequences, however, will always exist.

I'm going with neutral,because the truth is that their is good an bad in imgration.One point that could be considered is the fact that people from any part of the world could just sneak in therefore creating a possible threat for terrorism,and the chances of people who arn't even legal citizen's getting a job before an american who was actually born in the country.
and then there's the other point where people are treated more harshly in their current country so they make attempts to come to america searching for a better life.
It's one thing to consider your own safety but I find that it would be in-humane to just send a person who managed to escape a crule lifestyle back to a country where they would coontinue to suffer,and maybe in even worse conditions considering they could be imprisoned for their illegal imigration.

I have the perfect solution. They live in a shithole, right? And we don't want them. So, whenever an illegal alien jumps the border, we can just tell him to keep moving, all the way up to Canada.

D:< If Mexicans can start sneaking into OUR country then the Terrorists are gonna try sneaking in and then all Hell will break loose! There's gonna be a friggin war in OUR OWN country instead of somewhere else! We need to have people who are racist towards Illegal Aliens (No offense) to guard the borders! D= We'd have to deal with their full needs. Unlike if we keep them the way they are. And then, people would be flooding to Mexico and making cells. gonk 'Cuase then their having to deal with illegal alien. Not really sloving anything. Just making a few more problems.
