Ever Sacraficed was running as fast as her legs would take her across the wide plains. There were days when she felt like she had to get up and go until she was tired and ready for a nap. Her flax mane was whipping behind her in the wind and she couldn't help but laugh at the sheer joy she was feeling with her heart pounding wildly against her chest.
Finally, she started to slow down. Her dark red fur was even darker with sweat and her breathing was heavy. The water looked very inviting for her parched throat and she stepped up to the water's edge, dipping her front hooves so she could take a drink. It felt nice and cool and she sighed when she was done. (( Order: Ever, Daisy, Inali ))

Daisy, quenched with thirst, approached the watering hole that she saw from the distance. As she neared closer and closer to the water, she saw the figure of a dark chestnut mare on the other side. Her curiosity beckoned her to go and investigate who this mare was. So, she briskly trotted along the water’s edge and stopped a few feet from the mare to respect her space. Her head swooped down towards the water and she sipped the cool water. Then, she lifted up her head and smiled at the mare. “The water is nice and cool, isn’t it?” She said as she smiled warmly at the mare. She did not want to startle her, but since she was such a close distance, she probably has already done so. “I’m Daisy, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss.” She lowered her head and bowed in respect to the mare.

She lifted her head up, the water dripping down her chin with a mouthful. Being thoughtful enough, she took a gulp before opening her mouth. "Yes, it's great for a hot day like this after a hard run." The mare before her was a beautiful roan color, Ever felt a little jealous with how soft her colors seemed to flow together. Catching a hold of her manners once more, "My name is Ever Sacrafice. It's a pleasure to meet you as well. You're the first soquili I've meet since my two legger."

“Well, Ever Sacrafice, you’re also the first soquili I’ve met. I haven’t met any two-leggers yet” Daisy smiled. She examined the mare for a brief moment. This mare’s coat was a deep red tone, not like her light, roan color, but she too had a flaxen mane and tail. She looked into the mare’s blue eyes, they seemed gentle for the most part.
”Hm, I would imagine that after such a run on such a day as this, that the cool water would feel nice flowing through your body.” She spoke as she tested the water’s temperature with her leg. It was cool, and it felt good. She felt that it may be a good idea to go for a swim since the sweat under her thick mane bugged her. She stepped into the water and walked around in it, but she was cautious not to step in any holes that may cause her to trip. When she thought it was safe enough, she slowly laid herself down into the shallows of the water and dipped her head under the water’s surface for a mere second. The cool water washed the sweat from under her mane and any other place that had any traces of sweat. She smiled at Ever and giggled, ”The water is very nice indeed.”

Inali sprang across the plains, enjoying the feel of her muscles burning in exertion, enjoying the temporary high that galloping seemed to bring upon her very spirit. Ah, this was the life! Bounding like a fawn over an invisable rock, the red mare continued on her way for a short time before scenting water. Water sounded good. A run did tend to make one thirsty, after all!
Approaching the watering hole with supreme caution in case of predators, Inali relaxed seeing two others of her kind- they looked rather similar, actually. Her good mood still continuing, Inali let out a playful whinney towards the two mares. "What ho, my good brethren! I am Inali." Well, someone was rather jolly today- and with good reason.
Trotting up, Inali dipped her head for a long drink, finally pulling up her muzzle, dripping with water.

Ever laughed as she watched Daisy trying to cool off a bit more. "Maybe you should go out a bit more?" But then a patch of bright red caught her eye. She blinked and stared at the other Soquili and then glanced back to her reflection in the water and then back up. "It is quite striking how similar we both are. But you're brighter than me." Her mouth was hanging slightly open from shock, but quickly regained herself enough to get her manners once more in one day. "Greetings, Inali. My name is Ever Sacrafice."

Daisy giggled at Ever’s response, ”I should go out a bit more, and see the world, you know?” She winks and splashes around in the water. She glanced over her shoulder and saw a blood bay mare. She seemed pretty lively at this moment. She whinnied at the this new acquaintance, ”Why hello there Inali. I’m Daisy. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Daisy smiled and dipped her head under the water’s surface again. As she lifted her head out from underneath, she playfully splashed it. She stood up in the water, dripping wet, and shook her body. Water went flying everywhere. ”Hehe, sorry if I got any of you guys wet…” She smiled weakly.

Inali noted that Ever Sacrifice did indeed resemble a less colorful version of herself- how curious! "I am quite pleased to meet you Ever Sacrifice... We do look similar, but yes, I fear I am a brighter color." Inali could not say what she preferred, and would not say. Turning to the other mare, even lighter than Ever, Inali grinned. "Greetings Daisy." Before Inali could even finish her sentence, she was splashed. "Eck!" Giving a fake frown, Inali plunged into the pond with a mighty movement of her hindquarters, sending up a torrent of water. "Now that... we're even."

She smiled and dipped her head back in the water, filling her mouth with water. Stepping over to Inali, she opened her mouth and poured water all over the backside of the mare. She danced back a few paces with a wicked grin on her face. "Now you're wet on both ends."
She moved to the water's edge and then plowed into the cool wetness where it lapped up over her back and cleaned off the sweat from her body. It felt good. "How about you join us now, Inali?"

”Eeee! A tsunami!” Daisy laughed as she got splashed by the water Inali plummeted at her. She frolicked in the water splashing at both Inali and Ever. She then trotted out of the waters and shook to dry herself off. ”Well girls…” She grinned. ”I’m done with the water play and I’ve gotten all hyped up.” She distanced herself from the water so she can not get wetter than she already was. She was thinking about going off to run around some more since she has some energy to burn.

Feeling water drip down her spine, Inali gave a small, playful little buck, careful to miss Ever by a long distance. "That tickles!" Indeed it did, but the water also felt wonderfully refreshing. It wasn't often that Inali got that part of her body wet without having submerge herself in a way that felt uncomfortable. "I'd love to join you."
Going closer to the two mares, Inali stood in the shallows, feeling distinctly relaxed. Her eyes were half shut as she watched Daisy, though once the soquili clambered out, Inali became alert again. "Well then, let's race. We can dry ourselves off, and have fun at the same time!"

She stuck her hooves out for the shore, the water felt heavy on her back as she finally emerged all the way out, so she shook herself out from head to tail feeling three times as light before she had dived into the water. "I'm up for one if you two are." She didn't really want to wait for them, so she started off at a trot in a general direction. "Com'on," she called, looking behind to them.

”Hmm a race you say? I’m in.” Daisy smiled as she trotted off after Ever. She crow-hopped slightly as she trotted. She felt like a ball of energy ready to explode. Even though she thought of herself as quick, but she knew that her stamina would quickly decrease in a short period time after her first spurt of speed. She was meant to race shorter distances over longer distances, but she still loved the thrill of longer distances. She trotted in front of Ever and called to both Ever and Inali, ”Come on! Let’s go slow-pokes!”
