What scale do you personally think you do better at. I am pretty good at A Flat two octave, but my favorite is B Flat two octave. People in my band like the easy scales better but I like the ones i have to try at.

I really don't like scales period, but I would have to say B flat concert because it's the first one I learned.

G minor harmonic.

Double octave E major. I've practiced that one lots since it's a difficult scale for Clarinets, and it's a popular one for directors to make you play during audition.

Oh, and good ol' C scale. xd

All very good scales,,, but I really suck at chromatic,, literally I die at auditions because I literally skip an entire octave... The other scales are difficult to do on the trombone,, and one of those you listed hasn't been taught to us.

It's:

G A Bb C D Eb F# G

(G natural minor is: G A Bb C D Eb F G

G melodic minor is: up (G A Bb C D E F# G) down (F Eb D C Bb A G)

up to the E on the third octave?

Thats fun ^_^, its one of my favorite scales [I haven't learned my minors justtt yet, but I mastered all 12 scales in two months whee ] my other three favorites are B major, Db major and F sharp major ^^ fun stuff!

Heh. Anything that's four octaves. Not that it's ever required, thankfully, but it's fun to play a scale four octaves on euphonium. Otherwise, I like the minor scales. Yup.

give me any one octave scale and i can play it perfectly at 250

But my personal favorite is the Five octave B flat scale (yay for contra bass trombone!!!)

To play is Eb concert major because I like C scales but otherwise I like Cb major because its funny to watch people try to play 7 flats
