~Fantasy RP~
Welcome...children...to a world where all of your dreams and hopes can come true. Here you shall do battle against fierce demons and dragons, and face demanding challenges. Perhaps, however, you will also find friendship, and love...
Setting: There is a small village, in the far north, known as Ashenoak. 'Tis a village filled with good, respectable people, that resides near a lovely lake and at the heart of a forest. There is a central square, with a beautiful stone fountain. All of the structures appear to be built around this central fountain. As a traveler's post, Ashenoak is filled with many different occupations. There are three inns, all with built-in taverns, a blacksmith and seamstress, a stable house, living quarters, and a place for the mayor. There are a total of forty native residents, and they work quite hard to keep this place running.
Because many travelers stop here for rest and supplies, as it is the only site of civilization for miles, the citizens are quite wealthy. Do not be deterred, as this doesn't change the fact that they are still good, respectable people. 'Tis here where your tales shall begin...
Important Notice: This is ONLY the setting. Everybody's character will start here, in some way or another. That does not mean you are bound to stay here. Feel free to make up towns, cities, and lands as you go. This world is not closed only to my ideas. Everyone has the ability to pitch in. Just be good sports about it please.

~RULES AND REGULATIONS~
1. Follow the basic rules of Gaia.
2. Follow the rules of the guild.
3. No God-Moding
4. Cussing is allowed, but don't go overboard like rappers do sometimes
5. Romance is allowed. No sex. If you want that, take it to pms.
6. Your OWN ideas are encouraged.
7. Be Literate. There is no "He walks through the door, 'sup yo'".
8. Write your character profiles in the thread itself, at any time.
9. Feel free to create whatever you like as you go, but don't conflict with the ideas of others.
10. Use ()'s for OOC.
11. Have a good time ^_^.

I'm not really picky about races. Create what you want, just give a good description of what it is, save two exceptions: I don't want anymore demons or angels in the rp. Thank you. The basic creatures, like humans, elves, and dwarves, apply. Same rules with classes.
Please also take note of this. If I don't like the character profile, for one reason or another, I will ask you to change it. Don't worry, I'll specify what's wrong with it. I don't think I will need to do that though ^_^.

Class: Wizard
Apperance: Alexis stands 5'7. She has lovely, brown streaked blonde hair that falls a little past her shoulders. Alexis has pale skin, baby blue eyes, and a frail frame. That, however, doesn't mean she's not capable of packing a powerful punch, and when it comes to magic, it's there. She usually wears robes, darker shades mostly, such as purple and black.
History: Alexis was discovered by an elven lord named Eltheric. His heart being good and kind, he raised the human girl, and she grew on him quickly. After some time, however, lord Eltheric discovered that she was more than she seemed....especially through his visions and dreams. So, after much debate, he and his advisors sent her off. Eltheric and Alexis had a rough parting, and the elven lord broke down many times after she was gone.
With her strong will, Alexis continues to search for answers about herself, looking for a wizard that is said to be as old as time itself. Eltheric always remains in her mind, and she has vowed to return to him once her answers have been discovered.

It might just be that I'm bored, but I'm willing to do this for a short time. That and I'm having writer's block, and this seems like a good way to fix it. This is the first time I've ever done something like this, and am interested to see how it comes out.

Apperance Tall (6'3") with chisled features and a scruffy face. Well muscled with scars on his hands and arms. Hazel eyes and short, dark brown, almost black, hair that's kinda spikey. (can I put a piccy in later?)
History The son of a blacksmith, he left home after deciding that he would rather see the world than spend his life shoeing horses. However, he needed some form of income, so he works as a fighter for hire and a general handyman on his journey. He's been on the road now for seven years and is intent on enjoying himself. He enjoys a good drink every now and again in social situations, but is quiet and prefers to be alone most of the time. His only companion on his travels is a dappled gelding named Dart.
Abilities He's strong and is proficiant with several types of hand to hand combat. He's also good with horses and other animals, as well as being a tracker. He seems to have an over developed sense of intuition, but other than that, he has no real magic abilities (in fact, he's a little suspisious of magic).

Alexis stepped quietly into the village of Ashenoak, her thick, black robe swaying behind her as she walked. Streaks of blonde and brunette poked out from behind her hood, and the reflection of the moon's pale light in her eyes caused them to shimmer like stars.
There were four guardsmen standing near the fountain, talking about random things, just passing the time by so to speak. Ignoring the guards, Alexis made her way through the village until she came to an inn. 'Twas the largest of the three. There was a sign hanging from a light post which protruded from the wall of the building on the right side of the door, which read, "The Twilight Candle".
"Interesting name..." Alexis thought to herself. No matter; she pushed the door open, and stepped on into the building.
The atmosphere was moderately pleasant. There was quite a bit of talking in the air, about different subjects like people and their travels, armor, weapons and the like. There was also a faint smell of alcohol in the air as well. 'Twas warm inside, probably due to the roaring fire place on the far left side of the building. There were several tables, all spread throughout the inn, and there was a bar counter, with two staircases on both sides. Behind the bar counter was a door, probably where the waitresses and cooks did their business.
Alexis lowered her hood as she approached the bar counter and took a seat upon one of the stools. The man behind the counter had a large frame. His hair was gray, and he had a bald spot around the middle of the top of his head. Upon catching sight of the girl, he smiled, "One moment miss."

"Anything real as long as i just get to sleep and rest my old body"He looked up at Kas with a slight smile.
"Ok.First i want to get something to drink ok."Kas looked around and saw a bar near by.It was called 'The Twilight Candle'.
"Hey what about this place?" Kas walks up to the door of the bar and then looks down at Darkness.
"This will do"He looks around making sure there was no danger.
"Ok" Kas walked in and walked toward the bar counter.Darkness layed down behind her and fell automaticly to sleep.Kas looks around the place and then smiles.

Aiden sighed to himself. The ale in this tavern wasn’t too bad, but there wasn’t any dancers and most of the bar maids weren’t to his liking. Not only that, but he hadn’t been able to find any work for nearly a month. It seemed that coming out to the geographical island of a town Ashenoak had been a complete waste of time. The journey there had been interesting, but memories of rolling hills and untouched forest wouldn’t keep you or your giant horse fed. Or entertained for very long, for that matter. Now, with his money running out, the tall man sat at the bar, his scruffy face reflected back in the amber liquid of his drink. He had come to the tavern in hopes of finding another traveler who would hire him out as a body guard. It seemed though, that because he only carried two long daggers as weapons—and not a sword or heavy axe—no one was even mildly interested. How he was going to leave the town without money for supplies he didn’t know. Aiden had always been lucky though. At least he had that. He turned in his seat to see that new arrivals had come to the tavern while he had been drinking. “Aye, some int’resting looking ones.” He said to himself, eyeing two young women who had entered the bar, both going separate ways once coming in. Women always needed a bodyguard right? Well maybe not the one with the…dog? Wolf? But the other, garbed in a dark cloak looked like she had money. It was a good prospect anyway. Tying the laces on his tunic and adjusting his belt to look more presentable, Aiden got up and walked over to the girl.

Alexis noticed the man who had already been drinking at the bar coming towards her.
"Oh what does HE want..."
As he came closer to her, she knew she had no choice but to speak to him. After all, 'twas only polite.
"Um...hello. How can I help you sir...?"
Just then, the large barkeep had returned from the back rooms, "Aight, what can I get for ye fine ladies tanight?"
Alexis turned to the barkeep for a moment, pulling out a small, leather pouch, "A glass of light wine please..."
She untied the small laces that kept the pouch closed, and placed a few golden coins on the counter. Then, she closed it up, placed it back within her robe, and focused on the man again, "Sorry. Now, where were we. Oh yes; how can I help you?"
Meanwhile, the barkeep turned to the other woman, quickly grabbing up the coins Alexis had placed on the counter, "And ye miss?"
((Remember that you can create NPCs like the barkeep for example. Just keep it in mind ^_^.))

Aiden smiled, realizing that the girl might be mistaking his intentions. He eyed her over quickly, noticing now that he must be at least ten years her senior.
"Wheel, miss, Ah hope ye don't mind me asking, boot ye look teh be aloone." He said, stepping back so she wouldn't read anything bad from his comment. "Ah happen to be a fighter fer hire who is without work, and ye look to be ae girl without ae body guard." Aiden was never known to be subtle, and he could tell his comments were probably getting him no where. "Wheel, if yer interested, Ah'll be here. Ah specaillize in tracking and protecting, fighting generally. So if yer not staying in Ashenoak fer long..." He stopped awkwardly and went back to his seat, feeling slightly embaressed for his efforts. Oh well.

After he sheepishly went back to his stool, Alexis considered what was going on. She stared at her hands again, for a while, and then lifted herself from the stool, and approached the man.
"Ahem...excuse me...sir..." she said, smiling faintly and waiting for him to turn, "I don't believe I need a body guard...but your company would be very much appreciated..."

Kas looks down at Darkness.She grabed her hat and placed it on his head.She knew how much he hated human clothing so thats way she did it to tease him and to wake him up too."Hey Darkness wake up"
Darkness woke up and found Kas hat on his head "Kas would you do me a favor and get this off my head!!"Darkness got up on all fours and waited for her to take the hat off his head.
"Ok don't get your fur in an not."Kas grabed her hat and put it on her head."So you want anything to drink?"
Darkness jumped on one of the chaires between Kas and the other guset."I think water would be fin for me "

Aiden couldn't help the small sigh that escaped his lips. He searched the girl's eyes for a moment to make sure that she was sincere--she looked at him seemingly perplexed at the suddeness of his offer. He knew that it had been awkward, but he was getting desperate. "Do yeh want to talk of price then? Ah'm not going to lie, as long as you can heelp me pay for the supplies to get out of this town, Ah'll be in yer dept. Personally, I can't stand being in the same town fer too long ae time." He smiled and then struck out his hand. "Ah'm Aiden Black, by the way. An' yer name miss?" While talking, Aiden couldn't help but notice the pale haired girl on the other side of him...she seemed to be having a conversation with her animal compainion. Aiden knew it was a wolf now, and couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable. He knew that some sort of magic had to be afoot--how else would a young, skinny girl like that control a wolf?
