Alright. Mendaci was banned...
Worst part?
When he tries to write up something asking why he got banned,
They say it's too long to respond to...

...Needless to say,
He asked me to tell the guild,
So I did...
He's making a new account,
And as a side note,
And warning to cherry...
He said he shall eat cherries if he is not re-invited into the guild... domokun

Let's hope nobody else gets banned shall we

hah, I'm just happy my main didn't get banned when it happened to me. I'm preeeetty sure I would've quit. Like, for real. This is over 2.5 years of work in this account.

Yeah, I hope so too wolfiso. I hope so too. Although I didn't get hit as hard as cherry (only about half as much actually), I'm still... well, won't say anything there. Lets just say I'm not happy with Gaia. I may not have spent quite as long, but still, I did take quite a bit of time to earn what I wanted. Blah.
Oh well. I guess I'll start over, albeit at a slower pace. The silver lining of my main getting banned... well, I always wanted to see what other eyes I could have neutral Yeah. So no brown eyes now. Maybe a good thing eh?

Oh... yeah. I don't check that particular e-mail account very often. Perhaps that's why they wouldn't let me e-mail them with my main account... Anyways, the reason goes as follows They You have a message from the Gaia Online administrator: Your account JayceeMendaci is permanently banned because of the following reason: *Violation of the Gaia TOS, with respect to the operation of automated scripts, known as botting; and/or profiting from such activity. It was probably when I was trading. I traded a solar cloak for 12,000 and a donation letter... bleh. Wondering why probably won't bring it back.

So, what the Gaia administrators are really telling us is: "Don't trade!"
One might think that they would want to tell us something else. I would if I was an administrator. You know, along the lines of: "Don't bot!"
I mean, what security do we have? We can't know for sure how the money used to buy something of ours was gotten in the first place. It's a counterproductive act to ban all people profiting from botting. It would be like accusing Gerber of helping out in murder just because their knives were used.
Well well, not much to do about it I guess...

Something like that. But botting inflates marketplace prices, so everyone with a shop "profits" from it... Meh. Sore spot there. I'm still working on getting my previous levels of gold, and kinda 'fraid to start trading again. So lots of posts... I think I'm nearing 100 in the last 24 hours biggrin

This time for buying an item from a girl who was botting gold...
Curses!!!!
He wrote a mod though,
He's waiting for a response now.
Hopefully they'll give it back or whatever.

Hopefully they'll give it back or whatever. What? OMG. It makes me never want to trade again! Holy crap. Well, I know that happened to a user before, and she got her account back immediately. Try one of the nicer purple mods (who is on-line). Ambu is really sweet if she's on-line.
