She has a distorted look on life, in that her grandparents didn't want her mother to have her, due to the fact her father is American. Although she cares for her friends, one of Zee's worst habits is that she uses her friends, and without necassarily realizing it. In her need to anger her grandparents, she'll sometimes use her friends to that aim. She's not above seducing male and female friends into her bed, not realizing that she's hurting her friends, and in the end herself, by doing so. Zee lacks the capacity of being subtle in any other way; more often then not, she'll run right into a situation head on. When it comes to romance, though, she treads carefully, though still with her determined hard headedness. A definate lover of music, Zee is a passionate and spunky singer, often singing new versions of old songs, including Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, all the golden oldies. She has a band with two of her friends, and they named it Eagle Feather, sponsored by Eagle Eyes Records, a company owned by one of her father's friends. She is a talented dancer, having taken classes in jazz, modern, and belly dancing since she was thirteen years old, her dance being another conflict with her grandparents. She is very proud of her half-czech blood, and can speak it fluently, having been taught english and czech by her parents since little, resulting in her loving to confuse people by slipping Czech words into her sentances. Zee loves her parents dearly, though she sometimes distances herself from them. She is an only child, and slightly spoiled; she knows how to get what she wants, but she also knows not to throw fits about it. She dislikes a variety of things, anywhere from the color black to people who call her slut, as well as her grandparents and religious fanatics. There is no color Zee doesn't like. Her shirts are often tight fitting around her chest, with loose and baggy sleeves when they have them. Her pants are generally close-fitting around her butt and thighes, loosening up and getting baggier around her calves and feet. She is often wearing a myriad of necklaces and jewelry, as well as either a pair of sandals or bright teal Vans sneakers. It was there that one of the doctors sent her record to Feral Labs with the batch of the others, and she was picked out as a subject of interest. When she turned 17, her parents sent her and some friends to the airport to go overseas for a music concert as a birthday present, but Feral Labs also was aware of it. They had some men posted at the airport, on the lookout for Zee, and they grabbed her while she parked her friend's car, her friends having gotten out earlier to turn in their bags. The men had already gotten Zee's bag off the plane, paying off the loaders, before gagging and blindfolding the teenager and discreetly getting her into a van. The van then left for a private helipad, where a copter was to take Zee to her new "home"... ((To be more detailed later))

 (Work in progress) Appearance: Taller by a foot from her legs lengthening, her hair is a much darker blue, the natural dark brown having been overplaced first by the dye, then the changing to a parrot, and more feathery in appearance, hanging down into her face. Her skin turns into fur and feathers, her face turning a vivid cherry red, her nose and mouth pushing outwards into a bright red beak with the tip of it a bright yellow. Her eyes are still silvery, but with a dark reddish-blue cast to them, and slit pupils like a cat's. The red of her face extends down her neck, changing to orange around her collar area, then to orange on her shoulders, then yellow down her arms and green around her elbows. Her chest area is orange to yellow, changing to blue just below her bust, and her back is green. The blue on her belly changes to green at her hips, all the way down her legs, which turn into lion/cougar legs, with the paw pads a dark gray, and the toes a bright yellow. She has a thick, heavy set cougar's tail with a tuft of long blue hair on the end like a lion', as well as thick feathers sprouting from the same area as her tail, trailing down to just below her knees; bright green, and edged in dark blue. Her legs are thick and muscely, good for jumping like a cougar. Her arms turn to claws at the elbow, with smooth, blue-gray scale-arms turning into sharp, thin claws at her hands. Her ears are long feathered tufts, red at the base, before shifting to orange to yellow at the tips. She has large wings sprouting from her shoulders, with the mass of a bald eagles, the span a little longer then she is tall, enabling her to glide for long distances, providing she has enough height, but not enough to fly and gain alot of height without jumping. Short VersionZee's mother, Marseilles, was born and raised in the Czech Republic, with her brother and strict, to the book parents. She hated it so much, that she left for college in America, where she met her husband, Michael. They got married after they graduated, to the ample horror and disgust of Marseilles' parents. A number of months later, they had their first daughter, who they named Shenzi. She grew up well, having a tendancy to go roof running from whatever ladder or flower-trellis she could get access too. When she was four, her little brother Angelo was born, and life went pretty smoothly after that. In middle school, Zee took up in the choir, slowly escalating to one of the soloists in concerts and small musicals for the school. It was when she was in 7th grade that she started taking a turn. She started doing outrageous things, just for the pleasure of surprising friends and family, but Zee soon learnt of how her grandparents responded to their daughter's weekly phone calls; she knew how they felt about her, so she strived even harder to shock them, to rub in their face that she was alive. It all came to the worst, as it were, for her in high school. She was wild in highschool, forming a band with two of her buddies, starting dating "bad" boys, dating other women, the whole shebang. While taking tumbles with friends, she started making CDs of her and her band, Eagle Feather, and joined a record company owned by a family friend. She started using various drugs and smoking, but she started visiting a rehab clinic once she tried stopping the drugs, though she kept up the smoking. When she turned 17, her parents decided to send her on a plane to Europe with two of her friends to see her favorite singer in Germany, Joss Stone, but there were problems in the airport... Long VersionZee's mother, Marseilles Zuza Veldetta Marjettova, was born and raised in Jince, in the middle of Bohemia. Or better known as Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, with her mother and father, and a younger brother. Her parents were the sort that were very hidebound, believing you should stay in your mother country, marry one of you country, and never leave your country. Marseills hated it. Once she finished highschool, she worked up enough money to get a plane and go to college in the united states, in a city called New York, leaving behind her parents and younger brother in Czech. Michael Thompson had lived in Raleigh, Virginia, all his life, born and raised in the suburbs as an only child, he often travelled with his family, travelling every summer and staying put in Raleigh every school yeah, until he graduated from highschool. At that point, he decided to go to boarding school in another state, to "Broaden his horizons." So he picked a college in the much famed New York City, "center of the universe." It was there, in an advanced calculus class, that he met a woman named Marseilles. The two quickly grew fond of each other, making plan after plan for after they graduated. Eventually they got married, with everyone from Michael's family coming and giving rounds of applause, while next to no one from the bride's family came; her parents had forbid anyone to, even her little brother, saying she was a shame to the family for marrying outside the Czech blood, and for marrying an American of all things. Nine months later, cue Zee. At the hospital after the baby was delivered, the bursting-with-pride parents finally concluded on a name; one they liked the sound of, and that would also poke at the "loving" grandparents from Marseilles side. They chose Shenzi, which meant savage, uncivilized in Swahili. ZeeZee grew up well; she didn't get into too many accidents, though a run across a four story roof in windy weather did hapeen to traumatize Marseilles and Michael. At least not till her little brother Angelo was born, when she was four years old. After that, she was the family wild child. Aside from occasional scrapes and accidents as a little one, Shenzi grew up fairly normally. Once she hit puberty and the teenage years, though, then it went crazy. Once in middle school, Shenzi took up chorus as her music elective, and so loved it that she continued it up until today. It was around when she was thirteen that her grandparents finally started calling; Zee had already heard about them from Michael and Marseilles, and so she would often shock or offend her grandparents by doing whatever she felt they might disprove of, ranging from answering the phone with "Thompson Insane Asylum, we lose another one to sanity every day. How may I help you?" to swearing at them in Czech. Oh, she had an imagination; she made sure everything she did got back to her grandparents. She kept her grades up to either B's or A's, to keep her parents happy, but did everything else to annoy the grandparents. In highschool she even went to far as to take a tumble, as it were, with a girlfriend, to shock them as much as possible. As hidebound and religious as they were, her grandparents found it blasphemous, though they couldn't do more then splutter. Doing all sorts of outrageous things, Shenzi, in the meantime, pursued her dream of singing on stage, making multiple CDs with her songs and sending them to different record companies; many turned her down, but just as many asked to have her with them. Proud of what she could produce, she accepted the offer of one of the dealers, and made a bargain with him and a friend; she could switch the company to plan what she wanted, if the company got half the profits. Eagle Eyes Records was created, and Shenzi was doing as she'd hoped. When she was 17, her parents bought tickets for her and two friends to fly to England for a concert, as a belated birthday present. But there were some unforseen problems in the airport...  Rainbow Lorikeet Common name: Rainbow Lorikeet, Rainbow Lory Scientific name: Trichoglossus haematodus Classification: Animalia(Kingdom), Chordata(Phylum), Aves(Class), Psittaciformes(Order), Psittacidae(Family), Trichoglossus(Genus), Trichoglossus haematodus(Species) Habitat: The rainbow lorikeet is found mainly in eastern Australia and on islands in the South Pacific. It lives in woodlands or at the edges of forests, where vegetation is not very dense. The lorikeet is also seen in gardens and parks. The city of Sydney has a flourishing population. In northern Australia the birds stay in the same area all year round. Farther south, where vegetation changes with the seasons, they are nomadic, constantly on the move in search of flowers and fruit. They are colourful birds that live in northern, eastern and south-eastern coastal areas of Australia. Appearance: They have short, curved beaks and feet with two toes facing forwards and two toes facing backwards. Their faces are a bright blue, with vivid yellow feathrs on the back of their neck, and a leafy green starting at their shoulders where wings meet body, the green going down to their tail, with the underside of the tail feathers having little bits of yellow flecks. Their chest feathers are a very vivid ruby red, with orangey-white sections on the sides. Below there, about halfway down their bellies it changes to dark blue feathers. Their claws are a dark slate gray, and thir beaks are a bright red, often with a yellow tip. They are small to medium-sized, ranging from about one foot to a foot and a half long. Rainbow Lories have a downward-curving bill and feet with two toes pointing forward and two pointing toward the back. They are 11 inches long, and the tips of their tongues are brush-like to help them as they gather pollen and nectar. Their beaks are heavy but not strong enough to eat many seeds and kernels. Diet: Lories are nectar-eating birds, usually crushing the blossom and then licking up the honey with their brush tongues. Sometimes they feed so eagerly their necks will become coated with sticky nectar and dusty pollen. If this nectar and pollen begins to ferment before it can be preened away, it may literally intoxicate these birds and they must wait until they "sober up" before being able to fly. Additionally, they may also eat blossoms, fruit, insects, and some seeds. 70% of their day is devoted to feeding. Behavior: They call with shrill screeches. Rainbow Lorikeets fly over trees searching for nectar and pollen from the blossoms of native plants, fruit and insects in the early morning and late afternoon. They use their sharp, curved beak to tear at fruit and flowers and their tongue like a paintbrush to mop up nectar from flowers. Rainbow Lorikeets make nests from a bed of sawdust in hollow trees or tree branches that are near water. The female lays two white, round eggs that she sits on for 25 to 26 days. When the eggs hatch the chicks are without feathers. Both parents help feed the chicks. The chicks have feathers and are ready to fly and leave the nest in eight weeks. The young eagle gets adult plumage by the 4th or 5th year and will sport a total of about 7,000 feathers. Eagles have the excellent vision characteristic of raptors. An eagle's eye is almost as large as a human's, but its sharpness is at least four times that of a person with perfect vision. They have two centers of focus, that allow them to see both forward and to the side at the same time. While soaring, gliding, or in flapping flight, they are capable of seeing fish in the water from several hundred feet above. Like all birds, eagles have color vision. Their hearing isn't as good as their vision. Eagles have a special locking mechanism for their talons. When the open talons hit the prey, they instantly close and cannot be opened again until the eagle pushes down on a solid surface. Diet: The bald eagle is an opportunistic hunter, taking whatever prey is available and easiest to hunt. Eagles do not have to eat everyday and have a pouch in their esophagus, called a "crop," where they can store food. Fish make up the bulk of a bald eagle's diet, with salmon preferred. They fish in both salt and fresh water. They will also ingest small mammals and carrion. Fox, young deer, and even geese in flight are hunted as well. An eagle can lift about 4 lbs. Occasionally, an eagle plunges into the water to catch its prey and uses its wings to swim, since it cannot fly again until it is out of the water. Bald eagles have been known to steal meals from osprey, crows, and other animals. Eagles sit at the top of the food chain, making them more vulnerable to toxic chemicals in the environment, since each link in the food chain tends to concentrate chemicals from the lower link. Behavior: Eagles are only partially migratory and juvenile eagles migrate before their parents. If they have access to open water, they will remain at that nesting site year round. They nest from November to April and use the same nest each year. It takes weeks to construct and is added to each year. Bald eagles are sexually mature at 5 years of age. Behavior: Like African lions, hunting is a cooperative affair but adult males rarely participate. If vegetation is sparse, hunting usually takes place at night, but where it is thick, it may also take place during the day. The lions use stealth to approach their prey and then charge and either grab or knock it down before it outruns them. Only one in about four charges ends successfully. Lions are inactive for most of the day, spending up to 20 hours per day resting or sleeping. Again, like their African cousins, Asian lions are highly social animals, living in units called prides. It's believed they use their tail as a way to balance themselves when jumping. A mountain lion can drop silently from a height of 60 feet and land running. They can leap 15 feet upward and on flat ground, a lion can spring forward almost 45 feet in one pounce. Diet: Mountain Loins are predatory carnivores, whose main prey is the white-tailed deer. Other prey species include rabbit, raccoon, wild hog, armadillo, and birds. Research indicates that about 80 to 90% of a lion's diet is deer. An adult lion kills one deer per week. Other prey species include elk and smaller mammals. What the lion does not eat, other predators and scavengers, such as coyotes, foxes, hawks, eagles and crows, use. Prey is dragged to a concealed place before another animal can eat it. The forequarters of the carcass are eaten first, and the rest is buried with grass by the Mountain Lion and fed upon later. Mountain Lions will kill and eat domestic livestock also. Behavior: Lions are solitary hunters and only kill when hungry. They feed, cover the remains, and stay close by usually napping, then feed again. They must have enough food to sustain themselves and their young, as well. Much like the Cheetah, the lions live a single life until mating season. The female can have a litter from one to six cubs. The babies are completely dependent but very soon after birth, will accompany their mother on her outings. At around the age of two-years old, the cubs are able to hunt and provide for themselves. They will soon leave their mother and go off on their own and the cycle starts again.
