Unfortunately I don't own any sugar gliders.. I wish I did! I'm so jealous of you! It's kinda hard to own one in England though..
I have a love for all marsupials, in fact I plan to marry a wombat and have many hideous crossbreed children.
And live happily ever after.
In New Zealand, of course.

I suppose I should introduce myself and my suggies, too!
I am Kipluck and I started this teensy tiny guild because I feel that gliders sneak into every aspect of my life... so why not Gaia!?
I am a single sugar mama of currently 4 gliders. I do rescue and rehab, so so far I have had 9 or so come in and out of my home. I have 3 that are MINE mine. The 4th I have now, I am happy and sad to say, is set up with his awesome forever home but just hasn't moved there yet.
I have...
Epiphany Jo! We usually call her Nani and she was my first own glider. She is rather moody and cranky but still adorable. She is a wonderful pet, but a horrible mother and so is no longer allowed to have joeys. But I don't care one bit and love her anyway, cranky crabber though she is.
Lilo Phia Jaslynn! She was meant to be my 2nds and ONLY other glider till ********* came into the picture. Lilo is a chubby girl and a total Mama's girl. She LOVES her little clan (********* and Nani) but prefers humans. SHe barks for attention all the time and purrs and clicks in my ear while the others play. She is a cuddlebug and the youngest other than Nani's one living baby, Plice.
********* Lyman Nestor the Molestor! ********* was my first rehab/rehome rescue, but I couldn't rehome him. I fell in love. He came from a bad situation (being fed BIRDSEED and canned fruit and living in a hamster habitrail thing) and was mostly dead when he was brought to my attention. But he was a miracle and is now very healthy after lots of changes and surgeries. He LOVES his girls Lilo and Nani and loves to... ahhh... LOVE them, even though he is fixed. He is a goofy little sarling though who turned out MARVELOUSLY for his background.
And finally, Plicethenese Kitty Stitches! Usually called Plice or Kitty he was a surprise after we saw Nani eat his twin. We didn't even know Plice was in there! Unfortunatley, Nani also tried to do away with him and he still has scars on his eye and is partially blind from it. I bottle-fed him from his 3rd day OOP, and he is a fighter! He is so wonderful, I wish I could keep him but only have the means to keep one cage and Nani won't stand for it if he came back. He is the doll in my siggy right now and I am happy-ish to anounce that we are finalizing a REALLY nice home for him soon with another special needs glider with HLP.
So that is my gang (well, the suggies anyway. We also have gerbils, dogs, birds...)

Junidoe Well, you could tell your mom that since Sugar Gliders are not even related to Rodents as they are marsupials that you should be able to have them... but moms usually don't accept that sort of reasoning anyway. wink So for now, be happy with your Gerbs (I have 2 gerbils myself that I love!) and use this time to learn all you can about gliders and maybe when you are older you can adopt some! But till then, don't worry... we are happy to have you here anyway! mrgreen

Hi! You can call me Sugar, it's my online handle. ^_^ And yep that name came from Sugar Gliders. My friends and I decided that if I was an animal, that is what I'd be- small, cute, and hyped up on sugar most of the time... yep, that's suggies and that's also me. wink I have a little sugar glider character I draw a lot, also by the name of Sugar, and she's just a lil' barrel of fun. Sugar in action: a link to a drawing in DeviantArt by me! She represents me on most of the websites I draw in. I guess that's kind of it. I might like to have a suggie for a pet someday, but it wouldn't be for a powerfully long time, as I'm still in college, busybusy! Anyway, thanks for letting me in the guild. See you around! biggrin

hey there sashmo calling and for now i don't have a sugar glider.... unfortunately i'm finding it hard to get hold of anything sugargliderish in the uk so i have to save up a tone of money to ship stuff in or find alternatives...
any sugarglider forums i become addicted to as they are so cute and cuddley and one day i plan to have two lil balls of fluff leaping around my home with sugar glider fantasticness yeahy he he he mrgreen

Hey, swedish_soup here. You can call me Soup, or Free (don't ask) or anything you see fitting. I saw Kipluck in the Pets and Animals Guild! (which I am officially addicted to!) and saw the ad in her siggy. She was the first time I had ever heard of suger gliders, and I did a little research on them. They're wonderful animals, but I'm not looking for one as a pet. I'm a dog-person, no matter what, and they're enough responsibilty! Anyway, I'm proud to say I'm a member of this guild!

me is a kind of animal lover n wolves + dogs r my fav animals... i never herad of sugar gliders n i wondered if they were real n they r!! i like drawing n soccer n friends with Soup over here

I'm Atree! It's a long story of how I got that name... xd Anyway, I don't have any sugar gliders ( crying ), but I do have an awesome little cat named Cassi who rules the house from her bed of warm fluffyness.
I was referred here by my good friend, Swedish_Soup, or Free. I'm also friends with Persondrawer, the REAL owner of 12boricua, Sakura1622, and a few others in real life. I like soccer, basketball, drawing, reading, and I LOVE manga. xd I'm an addict. Also, roleplaying (NOT acting roleplaying) is fun. Although I'm REALLY bad at it... xd
