Okay, I couldn't find this question as a topic, so I decided to make it one. heart
I was just wondering how many of the people in the guild were "Made in Japan" xp ( I know, that's corny, but it's still fun. )
So, this topic will basically be centered on:
* Born in Japan?
* Where were you born in Japan?
* If not, where in Japan do you wish you were born?
* ... did I miss any? xd

hehe. military brat. xp so I have my 'technically not' category, but my baby book is still in Japanese. I'm the only one in my immediate family who was born outside of the US. xd yay me! I was born at the base in Okinawa.
I still need to find a tee-shirt that has 'Made in Japan' printed really big on the front. ... I might just have to make my own. whee
Oh, and in the poll, I definitely meant to type 'islands' ... not island... cause duh, there's a whole lot more than just one xp

i assume most people here do know, i am born at japan, narita,chiba-ken, and i am still there. i believe there are many people on here born at jpan too, just that i am not knowing their names.

ru-ten i'm not bor in japan or annything close to it.. i'm just inher to say that it's abit hard to get people to post a reply to this thred becaus they kan get lot of troble vith the Japan lovers... yes, those epople can be so weird, especially if they fan over you and only like you becuase you are be japanese. and i hate cosplayers and insane anime fan. which is why when i get such pm and comment on profile i delete and add person to my ignore list ^_^

I wish! I would have wanted to be born in Toukyou or Oosaka. I'm from the US. Virginia. My whole family is from the US. I might be moving to Okinawa soon though!

And besides, it's not like everybody who was born in Japan is Japanese, and not all people who are Japanese were born in Japan. Besides, I wouldn't think that the labelling as "japan freak" and blocking you because you were born in Japan would happen in this guild, right?

I wasn't born in Japan, but one of my friends was. She used to live in Mino and she really misses it there.
I wouldn't stalk somebody just because they're Japanese. I mean, why? Why would they talk to somebody solely because they are Japanese? It's really silly. Sometimes anime fans annoy me because some of them act like they know all abot Japanese culture and language just from watching anime or reading manga. Some anime fan was even trying to tell me that I was wrong about the Japanese language… I will not be told how to speak Japanese by some anime fan who thinks they can speak it from watching subtitled anime.
(( By the way, I do like anime and I do cosplay, but I'm not… insane about it. I like other things too, and I actually read about Japanese culture and I really love Japan beyond anime. I sometimes don't even make a connection between Japan and anime anymore like I used to… But the insane ones annoy me, especially the Japanophiles. Actually, the Japanese wannabes annoy me more… ))

I think japanese wannabees are cute^^
I was contacted by maybe 5 people only because I am living here. They are just curious!
Once I tell them I am not at all into anime, they start getting interested into the "true" culture of Japan, and I think it can become a true passion for them^^
