I have a seriously bad fear of heights. I cant got out on balconies without a minor heart attack. Ive tried just being out there in high places, but my fear has just been geting worse. So Im asking if its possible to store a fear in something, like a storage crystal. And if so, how?

i would suggest is to meditate on it and you may just surprise yourself or do self hypnosis and give yourself a post-hypnotic suggestion of not being afraid of heights

My favorite hypnosis book has suggestions for claustrophobia, agorophobia, and being afraid to swim. I would recommend finding yourself an operator to do this to you, though. I can imagine it being a little tough to shake your fear with self-hypnosis.

I agree, I would look into hypnosis or a more conventional way of dealing with the fear... because I am concerned that if it is not eliminated, but rather stored up and concentrated, eventually all that fear could do alot of damage, most likely at the most inopportune time.

I dont think so. I have absolute zero meditative or trancing skills at all, so I doubt i could do something like hypnosis in any respect. And there are no hypnosis operaters in my area.
And plus, if its gone from my body, its better then just keeping it here and ******** up my fun. It wouldnrt be in me, nowhere in me, and theres no fear of heights to be had. So whats the big deal?

Well.. I think logically, it will end up *somewhere.* Hmm... perhaps a spell to help you deal with the fear rather than syphoning it off? That might work better. I will have to see if I can find anything like that.

And Im through trying to deal with it. I want it gone.

And Im through trying to deal with it. I want it gone. I know. The point I was trying to make is *stored* is not *gone.* The concequences of a sudden release of a negative from a container is often much worse. A dam breaking... a gas tank bursting. *sigh* perhaps I am just pessimistic. But whatever you do with the fear now, I would seek conventional methods to eliminate the fear being triggered in the first place. I know it is hard, but it's a well known fact that repressing things inside yourself is a bad idea. Following that, can it be such a good idea to repress it somewhere else?

The best way to deal with a fear is to confront it. Meditation and hypnosis may help the cause, but you're still confronting it one way or another. You can't just meditate for 2 hours and have your fear magically disappear. And you can't go under hypnosis once and have it go away, either. Hypnosis would help you confront your problem without actually going out on a ledge. It gets down to why you are afraid of heights, and pushes you to confront it in real life. The only rational way you're going to get rid of this fear is to confront it. In my opinion, a spell or chant or something would only give false hope. True, if you believe it would work, it would give you courage to step out on that balcony. And true, if you believe you have stored your fear in a crystal or some other object, you might not recognize the fear, and it may have seemed to have "disappeared." I would suggest going out on a balcony or some other place where you are completely safe, but high up. Maybe sit down and try to meditate and get used to the feeling. Then try kneeling or standing. Bit by bit, your fear will go away.

I cant sit still or focus long enoug for it.

Ack! I saw a spell for that. If I were at home I'd send it to you, but there was a basic one--just write down your fear on a slip of paper, and either burn it or flush it.
I, too, have a fear of heights. I both love and hate them; I like the wind and the air and the view, but I get vertigo after a couple seconds, and I have to go someplace grounded again.
I think the mediation idea sounds good. Try asking a diety/angel/power for strength or support.
