EDITED AT 10:11pm ON 7-31-06 I redesigned it. It now works in IE6, but not as well. If you hover over the header, my details, wishlist and avatar will come up over the about section. IE6 doesn't like to add the :hover pesudo class on anything but links; I tired to make it work. Tell me what you guys think. ProfileFrom Profile:This design was made over the coruse of a couple of days. It uses no external images; 100% pure CSS. Its simple; and I like it.

It doesn't seem to work very well in IE. The layout looks broken.

Bolweevil It doesn't seem to work very well in IE. The layout looks broken. I was afriad of that. I only have IE7 beta on this computer.
Could anyone by chance upload a picture of it in IE 6? Please email it if you can. I'll give you my email in a pm. Thanks.

Personaly, I think your profile is too simple. The colours are fine but you should add a little something maybe in the banner where your username is. As I read, you like it simple, so it's nice too.
I went to see it on firefox first, but then I went with IE and it's true that it looks broken. If you don't have found someone to send you a picture, well, I can probably do it for you, just pm me.

The reason I didn't want a more graphical banner is because I didn't want to have to use any external images; but I've always thought it could have used something above the my name.
Again thank you.

miksago looks and functions nicely, but it looks a bit bare... Expand? And note, in IE the roll over header to view the details, wishlist and avatar doesn't work. IE6 only has the :hover class for links.*sighs* I tend to stick to simple things. So its no surprise to me that it looks bare.

miksago looks and functions nicely, but it looks a bit bare... Sometimes simple is beautiful. I can think of tons of complex profiles that look like s**t. Busy graphics, horrible layout, difficult navigation and no real design concept whatsoever. With the changes made so it displays better in IE it doesn't look too bad considering there's no images in the actual design. A person who can make appealing design with little to no images can do wonders with just a fraction of what people throw into their profiles.

Images are not always needed. Yes, its not the best I've ever done, nor is it the worse. I have seem to have found a compliment in there; I'm not sure if it was intended but, it is there. Regardless, thanks.

I guess I got sidetracked in the middle of doing that. The profile looks good and the fact that it's all done with code and no images makes it that much more impressive.

I love it when a person comes up with a nice, clean, simple, pure coding profile or website. They are the sex. I love them.

I know, by no means, were either of you trying to do this, but those compliments are the best brithday present yet. Its only 2am; lets see if any one tops it.

Actually, he keeps chiselling away at the inessentials until the truth of its creation is revealed without obstructions. The height of cultivation always runs to simplicity." Something to always keep in mind, when making anything.
