Every Monday night at 8, our entire family drops everything to watch House. Homework. Chores. Morrowind. Everything pales in importance to watching a smartass doctor with a limp deride his patients.
Anyone else gotten their whole families addicted?

My mom hates House. It's weird that she never watches it, assuming that it's violent and gross. Whenever I'm watching it, always she wants to know, "Isn't something better on?" She does the same thing with CSI and NCIS and Without a Trace (you can see where my TV taste lies...)
Of course, we all watch Alias together. And two of my sisters love House almost as much as I do.

Ha, I definately got my whole family in it, even my dads girlfriend who comes over to see American Idol.
My dad watches Becker, a similair show that was aired years ago and is now cancelled and he still very likes the show. And to put it simple, the show is about a smart a** doctor who gives his friend and patients a hard time. Sounds similair? The only difference is that Becker is just a regular doctor, no hospital, and theres more humor then drama.
When I started watching House I earged my dad to watch it as he loves smart-a** people, but my dad had no interest in seeing it as it has a lot of drama in it. Finally, we all ended up watching it after American Idol one day.
And now, my dad knows the name of every character and gets so involved with it, he keeps asking me questions and even develops his own "theories" while watching it.
But he denies it. xd

I keep trying to get my family into it, but they change they channel after watching American Idol... sweatdrop

I watch it with my mom 3nodding she's quite addicted now. last time the ep ended and i was waiting for next ep's preview, i told her "Okay, it's finished, you can go now." so she left and then when she got back i was all "hahaha, made you miss the preview." she got really mad at me xd xd it was funny though, never doing it again, haha.
my dad...i don't want him to watch stare lol, all he'll be doing is asking me what the hell's going on in it, so yeah. that's it. me and my mom blaugh

Mist of Veracity I watch it with my mom 3nodding she's quite addicted now. last time the ep ended and i was waiting for next ep's preview, i told her "Okay, it's finished, you can go now." so she left and then when she got back i was all "hahaha, made you miss the preview." she got really mad at me xd xd it was funny though, never doing it again, haha. HA :3 That sounds like the kind of crap I'd pull on my mom, if she weren't so TV savvy and didn't wait anxiously for the preview over the credits (which she would do, if she liked House. She does it for Alias). Was not the preview for this week's show TOTALLY INTENSE? I predict that my mother will still not like House after watching it (which I will make her do, because she thinks it's another Law and Order).

No way!! crying but if my mom thought that she's totally LOVE it cause she loves Law and Order xd and YES!! the preview was soooooooooooooooooooooo----well, i actaully can't recall much except Sela Ward stepping in with a flick of her eyebrows and saying softly "I have missed you, House." NOOoooooooooooooo.... crying that can't be happening *waves a big House/Cam banner* but it's funny. why is she calling him House?? weird... confused

Haha.. yeah my whole family watches. My mom started watching it after I told her it was good, and then she told my grandmother to tune in, and she has since become a fan as well. I don't live with my family, but I know we're all watching when House is on. biggrin
