Okay, here's the scoop. Basically this will be what I'd like to call a Forum RP. We are going to RP as a whole, while on this site. The best I can explain it is, is as a place where we take ourselves, or our "online personas", around the suikoden world, while we chat and do other things on the regular part of the forum. Te castle will be our forum "home". Now this will not stop other RP creation, but I'd like this to be a center point for all others.
Now I will oversee things(just because I have to) but the owners are who you'll go to for anything pertaining the castle rules and regulations, events and anything else going on in the castle.
The owner of this castle is Michie-in-a-box, you will respect Michie and treat her as you would me.
Look to there post below to find out about description of castle and qualification on joining with this castle.
Also note that once you are a member of this castle(or any castle), that the only way to switch residence is to see with the owner of your current residence and also the one you seek. Both have to approve.
Visitaion to this caslte is accepted, so long as you follow the rules of visitation rights(obviously you'd have to wait for permission to enter).

Welcome to Lake Toran Castle of the first Suikoden.
Lake Toran is just one of the three castles you may choose to join.
Please feel free to check out all three (Lake Toran, NorthWindow, & Budehuc Castle) so you can find the prefect place for you.
As stated by Brad Meine, leader of NorthWindow, this is highly suggested as it will take effort to move you from one castle to another.
Please be sure that you read the rules (listed below) and the Gaia TOS, as any violation will end in a ban from the Forum.

Through fear of having the Forum deleted, there will be punishment for broken rules.
It'll be based off of marks which will be placed next to your name on the Residents List.
After you've earned five (5) marks, you're gone.
Different problems and occurances will earn you different amounts of marks, all listed below.
Lake Toran is exactly like the rest of Gaia: PG-13. (2 Marks)
Be respectful toward everyone, whether or not you like them. (1 Mark)
Do not be an idiot. Some examples of this are: Doing something just because it gets on someone else's nerves, complaining about the littlest thing if you don't get what you want, etc. In other words, use common sense please. (2 Marks)
Do not bump. It is not needed as this thread it stickied. (1 Mark)
Do not brag that Lake Toran is better than the other castles. (2 Marks)
If there is a problem or another rule that you'd like added, please PM me and I'll gladly post it.

Transferring Castles
If you discover after you've joined a castle, that it really isn't the right one for you, you may move to another castle.
However, in order to do so, both castle leaders must be notified, so the proper changes can be made in both places.
Please note that sometimes tranferring from one place to another may take a while as one of the leaders may not be on or something else.

 Lake Toran, like most of Gaia, will hold contest within the castle, and awards will be given out. If you'd like to suggest a contest then you can either PM me or post it here.
Other events, such as birthdays and special occassions, will also be posted here, so let me know if there's something special going on.
LAKE TORAN WILL BE UP FOR A YEAR ON THE 26TH.
So on that day (and probably all week) will be a mini party type thing with games and prizes and all kind of fun party stuff. Everyone from Suikoden Universe is welcome to attend. The more, the merrier! Also, I'll be doing little pixelated doll avatar things for those who do show up.

ONE YEAR PARTY: INFORMATION & CONTEST
Information:The party will last two weeks (so hopefully more people will be able to stop by and such), so feel free to dance and sing and eat and drink (soda and juice people!) and go wild from July 26th to August 9th. After that prizes will be handed out.
ANYONE may join the festivities so long as they follow the Gaia TOS, Suikoden Universe Rules and Lake Toran thread rules. PLEASE be respectful of everyone and don't fight or argue. This is to be a good time for all. ^_^
Contest #One:Guessing Games
There will be three different guessing games, two with pictures and one with a riddle. DON'T CHEAT!
One will be posted every three days at the very bottom of this post. If you think you know who the character in question is then send a PM to michie-in-a-box and have somewhere in the PM the phrase "thrash sounds like an elephant" or I will discard your answer whether its right or wrong.
Contest #Two: Runes
There will be questions posted about the runes. The questions will revolve around the first, second and third games and are NOT posted on the Suikosource.com so don't go looking for the answers there.
There will be two questions posted every day. Each question will be left up for four day, then replaced with a new question. PM your answers to michie-in-a-box and put somewhere in the PM the phrase "pesmerga is the teni star" or I will discard your answers whether they are right or wrong.
Contest #Three: Gaming Events
Each day I will post one question about one of the first three games. The questions will remain up until it is answered correctly. Each one will have to do with what happens during the game. Send your answers to michie-in-a-box with the phrase "gate rune wars" somewhere in the PM or I will discard your answers whether they are right or wrong.
