I'm not too keen on contact lenses, but I'd be willing to try them, although I prefer glasses. So I was wondering, what type of glasses look best with Lolita?

When you posted this the first thing that came to mind where those classic fifties frames..that i think are mainly referred to as 'cats eyes' or 'cat frames'..you know the ones with the pointed ends and black frame? Those are so awesome, if I were to choose what one I'd get, I'd get those.
shoot for the vintage chick look, is my word of advice~

I have the same problem, dear, and my parents won't let me get contacts until I'm in high school. I suggest you rimless glasses like these. Now the problem with these as I have discovered in sixth grade is that if you're not careful, you could easily break them. If you lose the screw, well you're pretty much in trouble. So I suggest if you're really careful with your glasses, it would be best to get glasses like those.
Another suggestion if you're like me and can be quite careless are these. Now these are less delicate as the aforementioned type. I actually like these. From 3rd grade to 5th grade I had these type of glasses. These are more reliable, and I'm thinking of getting these next time. They come in many colors and are a bit more cheaper if money is a problem. They seem normal and don't completely stand out if you want to hide glasses sometimes.
One of these styles would be nice for a Lolita. I absolutely beg you not to get thick rimmed glasses like emo glasses. If you have a round face like mine, it really won't go well. ^O^

Your welcome. Believe me, the second choice is a lot more easier to care for. When I had the first choice, I went to ge it fixed at least 8 times.

Many lolita's collect Vivienne Westwood accesories, so perhaps try Vivienne Westwood frames smile
If at all, if another lolita is about to b***h that you're wearing glasses, tilt your head so she can see the logo, and her jaw would probably drop. 3nodding

<3 Vivienne Westwood frames would be awesome ^^ I wear glasses, 'cause I am too much of a wimp to put contacts in my eyes D: I have a pair of the 'frameless' ones, and then a pair of the 'emo' glasses, for when I am doing something where I could easily break them. (broke one pair already, so I learned my lesson ^^; ) I'd definitely reccomend them.
Or possibly you could look for flexible framed glasses, oh, I don't remember what theyre called... D: Yeah, the bendy kind >< A lot of thoes come with thinner frames, and in nice colors too. ♥

I think getting pink wire-framed glasses would be really cute, or some kind of pastel wire-frame!
But really, I tihnk you could get away with wearing any frame as long as you do it with style and attitude.

Hehe~ I've got the same problem. I need glasses, for my eyes and they also play down how big my nose it! Mine are frame-less, and I think they are just the cutest! They havn't held me back at all <3 But I still feel self-concious because I wear them~ ;3;
