The huge space of the basement is not put to waste, as half of it is taken up with stores of supplies for the bar above the living quarters. The other half is designated as an interrogation room and doubles as a conference room for the leaders of AVALANCHE.

Once AVALANCHE had decided to scout other members for the group, adding to the famous members that occassionally frequented the place, the basement was expanded into what it is now. It not only has more living quarters below, as well as above, but it also has a couple of escape routes that had been added, just in case.

Marlene quickly went to the first escape door she could find--in the well lit area. On the other side of the storage items. She moved a few things out of the way and opened the door. "Through here," she said.

Rude picked her up again and went through, Reno following behind. It seemed Sephiroth wasn't quite on their tales...maybe he decided to look upstairs first. He was relieved, but still scared shitless.

They needed to call Rufus. He'd kill 'em for sure with Sephiroth in Midgar for this long... He decided to leave him a text as he made his way through the exit.

Sephiroth and Valame are at Tifa's Seventh Heaven. And that was all it said. He shoved his phone in his pocket.

Valame stepped down and noticed the door after a while. Finding no way of telling if there was anyone in there or not, she moved inside cautiously.

"Beloved," she said in a quiet, questioning voice as she stepped into the basement to find Sephiroth examining the far side of the room, where various filing cabinets were filled with various business orders and whatnot.

She stepped over to where he was, keeping a little bit of space between herself and him, uncertain that she should bother him as he knelt there, flying through the files and searching for anything that would provide him with the answers he was looking for.

"Beloved," she repeated. "What are we looking for here exactly? Shouldn't we have trailed the Turks?"

Sephiroth did not respond for a moment but then he spoke quietly, almost under his breath. "There are few places outside of ShinRa that have a possible dot of information about their old workers, and this is one of them. If Lockheart deserted these and so did that other girl, then what's to keep the possibility at bay that there might be records here of people who had dealings with the Turks and then joined AVALANCHE."

Valame's eyes lit up with the realization of the idea and she could only smile.

Flitting through all of the files did not take longer than would have been expected and soon the silver haired man closed the last of the filing cabinets and stood up, quietly running over the slight tidbits of information he had learned. Those slight things included the fact that the ShinRa Headquarters had recently recieved a major upgrade to their security, paying millions, if not more, to cover the costs, although that was not so surprising. Besides that, he'd also found remnants of a woman's profile, she who had been a failed experiment of ShinRa several years ago and had joined AVALANCHE only because it meant revenge on ShinRa's behalf.

Truly though, these slight pieces of information did not improve the situation on any grand scale, and Sephiroth sighed to himself, glancing around the basement without the light of interest in his eyes. Although still he noticed the three escape routes that were built into the room.

"Valame."

"Yes?" She questioned her beloved, slight hope in her voice as she stepped to his side.

His eyes fell upon her and he smiled slightly, a faint upturning of the corners of his lips. "Come," he said and moved to the stairs of the basement, climbing up into the bar and glancing around once more before moving out the door, his voice floating behind him as a banner in the wind.

"We're going to pay Mr. ShinRa a visit."
