F.A.Q Q. what is this Guild for? A. This is for a Breedables shop called the Pokemon Haven, it's based off the popular gaming series made by Gamefreak and Nintendo.
Q. How do I get a Pokemon? A. You don't' get them in the guild, you need to go to the actual shop to get one. (Link at the top of this page) This is just for journals and a place to RP for people who already have one (or 30)
Q. Can I join the guild even without a Pokemon? A. Why yes you can! However, due to a lot of junk requests we get, members joining without a Pokemon must put somewhere in their guild request the word "Mareep", so that we know you've put forth the effort to get accepted! <3
Q. I went but they yelled at me and said their are no pokemon what do I do!? A. I draw them all myself, and then sell them off.. please not that it takes time to draw, tag, and manage the shop (a lot of time..) so pokemon are not available ALL the time. if you really want one, just post and make friends with the other trainers, and in time, you'll get a chance to get one. 3nodding
Q. I GOT A POKEMON! So now can I do stuff here with you guys!? A. Yes! But first, post in the The Pokemon Center this is where you register as a trainer and receive your Pokemon Journal.
Q. MY POKEMON ISN'T IN THE STATS THREAD/ OR ONE OF MY NEW POKEMON ISN'T UNDER MY NAME, WHAT DO I DO?! A. When you get a new Pokemon or if there is an error in the Stats thread, post in The Pokemon Center to alert the shop staff to it! We will add/fix whatever is needed next time the stats thread is updated.
Q. What is this PG stuff? A. PG stands for Poke' Gold. it's the fake currency you'll use to buy items for batting and RPing, I don't believe you should have to pay for your pokemon to get level ups with real Gaia gold, so I found this will make it fun and affordable for everyone. You earn a bit of PG at the end of the week during level updates if you've been RPing or chatting in the thread.
Q. Can we battle using pokemon? A. yes, please refer to the front page of the pokemon heaven's main thread for more info. 3nodding
Q. Can I control Team Rocket and be the leader!? Can I be best friends with Brock!? Can I be Norman and control his pokemon!!!??? A. No, NPC's like those can only be used by mods. Regular members can however make random NPC's like crowds, people walking around or being mean, wild pokemon to battle, and such. NPC's like gym leaders from games, people like Ash and Gary, Professors like Oak and Birch, and Team Rocket can only be used by mods, unless we give you permission.
Q. Is it possible to get off the Grey List?? A. It is possible to get off the Grey List if you manage to show that you won't cause anymore trouble. Just act normal and stuff and cause no more trouble, and eventually you should get off.
Q. can l roleplay a legendary pokemon like Aritcuno and Moltres? A. in short, yes and no. You can only roleplay one if you have Hotaru's permission to do so. And if one does pop up you are not allowed to battle or capture it. Also it does not mean that pokemon will be going for sale/raffle/action anytime soon.
Q. if you don't have a poke'mon can you get a journal? A. Due to this being asked quite a few times in the main thread and the guild, now even those without any pokemon can register to get a journal. This is so inspiring trainers can have their own little thread to keep track of quests, wish lists, and trainer info. Just post in the pokemon center and say you would like a beginners journal. 3nodding
The only difference from these journals and the others is that the title will be "---- Beginner Journal" Once you obtain a pokemon it will be changed to "---- Pokemon Journal"

How to Get a Pokemon A much needed guide written by Hotaru-Neko
exclaim Make sure to Read the front page of the Pokemon haven for more info about upcoming events! exclaim Remember, if you've decided to try for a Pokemon you have to make sure there are pokemon available for adoption!
Welcome to the Pokemon Haven! We are a breedable & Changing pets shop dedicated to bringing Gaia a quality and affordable Pokemon store for over 6 years. Pokemon are not available all the time, like most other breedable and pet stores out there we have a few different ways of obtaining them.NUMBER 1: FLATSALEThis is the most common and easiest way for anyone to receive a Pokemon. A Flat is basically a sale for a series of Pokemon I have selected that are sold on a first come first serve bases. These sales are usally anounced at least 24 hours in advanced, but I try for at least a 3 day notice. Prices range from 2k to 3k+ depending on the amount of evolutionary stages and rarity. There will usually be around 5 available for each species, once again this may be more or less depending on rarity.NUMBER 2: RAFFLESThese are conducted much less often than flatsales, and are usually held for uncommon or Pokemon with special quality's. Tickets sell for 100g each and there is no limit to how many you can buy, unless other stated. Free raffles do occur from time to time, but you can only claim one ticket in these cases. This gives everyone a fair chance at winning.
At the end of the designated ticket sale time, I'll then use gaia's Randomizer to chose our winner(s). NUMBER 3: AUCTIONSThese are the rarest and most expensive way to get a pokemon, and the creatures up for grabs are even more rare. Most auctioned Pokemon are on one-of-a-kind lineart, or have extremely rare coloring. Legendarys also fall under this category. If you don't have at least 50k, it will most likely be very hard to obtain a Pokemon with this option.NUMBER 4: GAMESSometimes we play games such as Bingo or trivia for a chance to get a special colored Pokemon. Be warned though that the although the prizes can be free, they may have a fee that has to be paid if you win.NUMBER 5: PET TRADES If you own your Own breedable and changing Pets store, you can possibly get a Pokemon from this category. I will ask that the quality is at least somewhat simmilar to my own and that it is not just a freshly open shop or filled with bumpers. To prevent previous abuse, unless your shop is on my wish list, only basic colored Pokemon are available for pet trade. Tips
-Check in on the main thread on a regular bases. People who chat with us in the thread are more likely to catch a flatsale or event, along with possibly getting help from older members!
-We don't like spammers, so plesae do not bump and don't just post smilies over and over again. The regulars are really nice and fun to chat with, I promise they don't bite!
-Even if your not rich, there are plenty of opportunity's to get a special colored or rare Pokemon. Don't be intimidated by the amount of People trying for the same Pokemon either. We've had two members so far that have only boughten 1 ticket and won a raffle. You never know when lady luck will be shinning down on you, but it cant' happen unless you make an effort!
- Don't hint at asking for a flatsale, or whine about how long you've been waiting to get a Pokemon. This will not only get you on the regulars bad side, but mine as well. Patience is generously rewarded in the PH, but not self-proclaimed patientest!
