Here in my hometown in Ohio, bleah!
And a trip we went to in Williamsburg, VA.
I hope to make the top jazz band this year though, I think if I practice hard enough this summer I may be able to. They go to a bunch more fests then at other two bands. (I was in the worst this year sad I think he just needed a decent tenor player..

The most reputable place I played was at a festival in Columbus. Besides that, it's mostly bars, restaurants, or a couple times in a mall.

The year before I joined, my school's Jazz Band played outside of a supermarket two blocks down from school. We are ghetto poor like that.

I've travelled a lot in the province; all through the interior and whatnot. Little bit down in the States, Seattle and whatnot. In town at bars, restaurants, festivals, theaters, bla bla.

Our school band has played in Edmonton (Yarbird Suite, Winspeare, Jubilee), Saskatoon, Banff, Vancouver (UBC), Medecine Hat, Irvine (Alberta), and Red Deer.
My band has played (since I've joined) in a community hall, and I've had some solo concerts for my family biggrin

Mostly in Chicago: the Hothouse, Velvet Lounge, Cafe Bolero, the United Center, Fitzgerald's, quite a few hellish, smoke filled bars, and a weird restaurant called... really... "ñ." The most fun gig ever was playing in a doumbek, electric bass duo at a cafe, and getting paid in chocolate. domokun
