I have one of his books that has that in it. That's how it was typed in the book and so I'm guessing that's why she left it that way.

It makes no difference, both words mean the same thing.
And it's not just thy, it's "thy" and "thine"... Btw.

Yeah... I have problems with some of those too. Mostly the 1st and the 4th. I. Know yourself IV. Apply knowledge with wisdom I've been trying to know myself for the past... 12 years, I think. Before that I was too occupied with knowing all the stories in the Best of Disney book by heart. And applying knowledge with wisdom? ... I'd say I haven't been around for long enough to be wise. Every once in a while when I manage to blurt out something of value, people don't listen to me because it's coming from me. I'm restless, spontaneous and I NEVER think before I act. confused It's gonna be a while before I get wise. I don't have a problem with breathing and eating correctly (well, I have a problem with breathing atm, but that's cause I caught a nasty cold)... I love vegetables and fruits, I'd eat only that if I could resist chinese smile I drink enough... Even though I occasionally get sucked in a braincell killing rampage. confused etc.

I also have troubles with one of the goals: number ten. Eating correctly.
I don't eat right in the least. It's not the eating unhealthy, junky things. It's eating to begin with. =/

I've got problems knowing myself...in fact I'm still trying to find my real and true self, but at least I know Wicca is in there. As for the eating one...yeah big problem there, I don't eat at all unless hungry and that's maybe once a day if I'm lucky. sweatdrop

crying Me too. I've just gotten over being sick from skipping meals. I used to eat too much, now I eat to little. I also have problems with knowing myself... I'm getting there though.

I think knowing yourself is a process. You take whatever path you're on because you want to know yourself more. And as you grow older, wiser, you become more comfortable with yourself and who you really are because you know and understand yourself.
And as for the eating problem...
I eat breakfast, a post-workout meal (thanks to soccer), and dinner. Other than that, I eat when I'm hungry, and I don't usually eat breakfast or post-workout when I don't have a workout (see how that works, there?). So, yeah, I eat when I'm hungry. Which means I should go get food now....

I guess I'm lucky. I have a strong sense of self, and feel like I know myself very well. But when I talk to anyone for long enough, I find another facet of myself I was unaware of. In that respect, I feel like learning about yourself is much like a rose blooming in that, as it opens, each petal is revealed in its own time, not all at once. In another way, I feel like it is like dawning light in that it reveals things that were always there, but hidden.
And contrary to that, also feel like sometimes the process of learning about yourself is like the growth of any plant, in that it requires water (knowledge), light (wisdom), and earth (love), for the pursuit of self to survive and thrive, and only in these conditions can it even flower (beauty) and bear fruit (goodness).
Love and Vale, ~Leavaros Dapple
