This being a Xena guild and all, I was wondering if anyone listened to music that reminds them of ancient fantasy, medieval battles/weapons, or dragons and such.
I listen to Power and Folk metal; and alot of songs are about swords, mythology, epic battles, power/strength, magic... basically it totally reminds me a various Xena episodes. So my question is this: have you encountered such music that reminds you of any great television show?

I mostly listen to Classic Rock, and yeah, there are alot of songs that tend to remind me of things.
Especilly since several of Led Zeppelin's songs have references to mythology and the Lord of the Rings trillogy.

Music from Avatar: The Last Airbender kind of reminds me of some of the instruments/styles from Xena. I don't know if any of you watch that, but I love the show and the music just makes it 100x better 3nodding
That's how I feel about Xena too, great show + great music = crazy awesome.

This is actually a funny story... one night I was listening to my ipod when it was on shuffle. My dad has a habit of putting his own Cds onto itunes, so when I plug in my ipod to my songs, his songs are transferred as well (cuz i'm too lazy to go through and mark off which ones i want in particular). This has led to me listening to several of his boring sounds periodically, especially when this story is taking place.
So, I'm listening to my ipod on shuffle, trying to avoid my dad's music, when all of the sudden, the theme song to CSI (las vegas) starts playing! My eyes go really big and I look at my ipod like, I'm not sure how my fave show's (pre-xena at this point) theme song comes on, but I don't really want to question such a fortunate occurrence. And then i glance at the screen, and i discover that it is The Who! My dad had uploaded his ultimate who CD onto itunes... who'da thunk my dad's usually bad taste in music would lead to something so beneficial?
