New!
"s**t." Andy exclaimed under his breath, exasperated at his latest attempt at getting close to Laine. He crushed his half-finished cigarette under his heel and walked inside the house. "She probably thinks I'm some crazy stalker or something!" he cried out. Andy's latest attempt had gotten him nowhere. Maybe showing up at her apartment and hugging her when she opened the door wasn't a great idea. He had become so overcome with emotion at seeing Laine for the first time since his last attempt a year ago that he forgot what point he wanted to make. She still wore her engagement ring, and that gave him hope. "Now if I could just get her to remember that I gave it to her and that we had a good thing going on, everything would be okay again!" Andy was on the verge of tears. "Damnit.. I have to find out about these blackouts!"
His ears perked at the sound of faint laughter. "Who's there?!" Andy shouted into emptiness. No answer. He walked from room to room to find that no one was there. Again there was laughter. Andy grasped his head "What the hell? I must be going crazy!" he shouted. Unknown to him, the Angel of Death was laughing at his misfortune. She peered into the window of the room he was in, still laughing. Andy whirled around fast and ran to the window. No one was there. The Angel of Death stared straight into his eyes through the window. "I'd like to see Laine try to be happy now." she scoffed. "He cant see me and she thinks he's crazy! This is too good."
