Does anyone know any good tutorials for doing makeup like Kyo's? (It can be from any song really, it always looks awesome.) Any tutorials of other jrocker's makeup would be cool too. I'm not very experienced with makeup but I want to at least try it out. ^_^

I'm not very experienced with makeup but I want to at least try it out. ^_^ Last time I looked (which was, mind you, quite a while ago), I only found tutorials for Mana's makeup. I'm sure if you get a good close-up pic of Kyo, you could copy his makeup that way. The secret (it's not so secret, actually) is to practice heaps. It's no good to try it out once, because it never works out right the first time. Unless you're a superhuman. Even if you are, it's good to practice anyway. So yeah. I don't think that was too much help..........sorreh.

Cure magazine always has good ones of different Jrockers. The Jrocker themself shows the magazine how they do their hair and makeup with pictures, so it's pretty easy to follow.

i've never heard of a jrock make up tutorial either but i've seen this thing on t.v. where they were showing how make up artists sometimes do emo rockers' make up. they have this stencil thing for you face and just basically put the make up on and let the stencil do its job if the style they were going for was complicated or something like that. (me? i just think they're too lazy.)

but you could try all you need is black eyeshadow and eyeliner
1.put eyeliner underneath your eyelashes 2.get the black eyeshadow and put on as much as you think
I THINK THATS HOW IT GOES sweatdrop

Hair
Step one: Straighten ze hair. Be sure to get the small parts on top. This will help to keep chunks of hair together and give it a pieced out look.

Step two: Spray hair with some sort of texturizing product. I use Garnier Fructis Style: shake effect and Got 2b glued shagged out texturizer. Then squish your hair to give it more volume

Step three: Spray hair all over with hair spray. Then let hair spray dry.

Step four: Use a small toothed comb to take pieces of hair and run comb through your hair TOWARD YOUR HEAD ONLY. This will let your hair have more volume and give you that special J-rock look.

Make-up! Part two: Lips

Step one: Begin by putting on lip gloss

Step two: Use dark lip liner or eye liner to line your bottom lip and part of your top. This gives you a dramatic look and larger looking lips, but don't line them all the way around on the top. Keep the middle free from lining.

The last step for me is putting on mascara, because it allows your eye makeup to settle and dry so that it doesn't smear right away.
