Does anyone have idea when the real date for Final Fantasy: Avent Children to be released in America? I'm hearing like waaaaaaaaay too many dates, lol. sweatdrop

I've just heard about how Sony wants to be a punk and make it available ONLY for PSP.

sweatdrop There's going to be a special edition DVD released. . . so I highly doubt that's the case.

It was released in January in Japan according to its official site so you can only image when we will be getting it in the states crying I want Aerith!!!

^.^ You can trust my information. 3nodding AdventChildren.net They've also announced that Square Enix will be releasing a limited edition of AC in addition to the regular version. As well as the DVD, the limited edition will include various special items. There aren't any details as of yet as to what it will contain, though.
Actually I checked the official site and I'm not seeing anything about it having been released in January. If you're referring to what it says on the first page there, it's not the release date. . .though I'm having trouble making sense of it. ^^; I can only read the Katakana which literally translates to:
Jyanfesutorera . . . the closest thing I can come up with is "Jump Festival"

I stopped looking. After almost two years of waiting...I got fed up. I was supposed to see it in Japan cause when I was there it was supposed to be out...that was last year in June. I'm so tierd of waiting. I'm slowly loosing interest in it and I don't want to. It's getting me mad.

It's understandably frustrating of course, but still. . . you have to take into account the sheer magnitude of the project. It's going to take some serious time to make sure everything is ready to go.
Editing is a long and arduous process. We should be happy that they're taking a fair amount of time to make it presentable.
That goes for the English release as well. Chances are they're going to go for a dubbed release, and in that case they're going to have to re-sync all the lips to the voice acting.
I'm pretty tired of waiting too, but knowing what it's like to animate something helps with it. I took an animation class and it took me a month to get some crappy little 3-6 second clip. This is going to be a 70-90minute movie.

Before they said it was only gonna be 40 minutes. sweatdrop I'm glad it's longer. And I understand the magnitude of project it's just that I wish the would set a deadline. sweatdrop

It would probably be better if they set a deadline when they knew more or less when it would be possible for them to release it.

Ya I know, I mean that's alot'o work. Besides, you have to think..this is how Japan works over half the time anyways. Once anything is released there, it's almost a year or 2 before they even release it here in the U.S. gonk
But otherwise, *sighs*..I'mma willing ta wait.
