Noise_Demon I just love Hellsing. Its one of my favorites. 3nodding Alucard is the best. heart Alucard rocks! I love Hellsing. The manga and anime are both really good.

I happen to be obsessed with Hellsing. The first Hellsing anime was alright, up until the middle when it branched off the manga plot and into that hidious Incognito arc (what were they smoking when they came up with that character?).
The manga is awesome. The characters kick a** twice as bad than they did in the anime and the plot is a lot more dynamic with more plot twists and better villains. It has enough action and gore for any horror fan and even a couple touches of humor and romance that did not exist in the anime.
I am currently awaiting the arrival of the second episode in the second Hellsing anime (some call it Hellsing Ultimate). I've seen the first episode and the animation is definitely more like the manga. There were a few parts where it veared from the mangas plot, but overall it was very good and I found it much better than the first anime. I've seen trailers for the second episode and the art looks top notch.
Hopefully the Hellsing OVA will not dissapoint, as the first anime did.

I've only recently just begun watching it. It's really weird, at least I think it is. It's ok though. My step-brother lent it to me, he says that the subtitled version, in which it is, is really messed as far as the wording goes.
