Post 2 - QUICK LINKS Earning gold on Gaia can be quick and easy. Here are some ways in one place. Good luck! 3nodding Post. If you post the amount of gold you have now, you can watch your earnings for this session grow! You can click the icon to your right (the red check mark) to go to your own subscribed threads. 3nodding Comment and then Vote on a work of art, an avatar and/or a home in an Arena. 3nodding Vote in a poll. Check out the Chatterbox forum for threads with polls. 3nodding Get Daily Chance at Home, My Gaia, Shop, Community, World, Games. 3nodding Spin the Rally Prize Wheel for a free prize. 3nodding Sell an item from your Inventory or at a Shop (surely of all the things you have from Daily Chance and Starter Stuff there's something you're willing to part with). Sometimes selling things in the Marketplace will get you more than the half-price the stores give, but for very inexpensive things you may find no one will buy your item at any price. Also, you need a Trading Pass (which costs 500g) to sell things in the Marketplace. This pass can be bought at the Bank. 3nodding Comment in a profile (feel free to use mine) 3nodding Add a comment to someone's Journal (again, feel free to use mine!) 3nodding Add an entry to your own Journal 3nodding Finish a jigsaw puzzle in Games. The more pieces the puzzle has, the more gold you earn when you finish it (but the longer it will take). The other games can also earn you gold, but usually not as quickly or easily. If you want to play Cards, you try to get as close to 21 without going over as possible. The trick is if you have 17 or more click "Stand" ("Stand" on 16 if you think either you or the dealer will go over 21, since dealer must play until 16 or over). For 9-15 on the first 2 cards you can try "Double Down" to double your winnings on the turn of just one more card. Anything else click "Hit." 3nodding Shake a tree and a bush and look under a rock in Towns. If the first of each don't work, try another until you get some (it shouldn't take more than two or three tries). The Welcome Sticky points out Quote: If you post very frequently, the amount of gold you get will be reduced. This is reset every twelve hours. To prevent spamming, there is a several second waiting period between posts. After posting, you need to wait a few minutes before posting again. Also, the length of the post does not determine how much gold you get. You get the same amount of gold posting a short sentence or word, as you do posting a whole page of words. tab-sempai If you make a long post like 3 or more sentences you get more gold. I fish only with F grade bait and use the Strength/ Strength + rod and can easily earn 300 - 800 gold a day (depending how many times I fish). JoyRose I have found fishing to get me some gold, but I'm not very good at it, so each game takes me about half an hour and the gold I earn is less than a hundred by the time I paid for the bait.

Submitting work for the Art Arena is supposed to gain you gold, but I'm not sure it still works.Lady Pyre jennimac and did I hear that you make gold by leaving feedback for artists in the art gallery? You're supposed to, but I don't think it's working right now. Voting and posting comments in the AA has been on the fritz for months. You're lucky if your vote/comment is recorded at all; let alone that it gives you gold.

Lanzer For the past few months there had been bugs related to the gold granting system. In particular there had been no cap placed on responding to polls. The bug had been fixed now, and on top of that the cap to how many polls will grant gold is also changed. The main focus on the new algorithm is to allow more reward for active users and less for mule or secondary accounts. I'm not quite sure if the cap is universally 10 votes per day or if it goes up based on the number of posts you have (so the more posts you have, the more votes give you 10g) and if the latter, I don't know the algorithm (how many posts = how many votes). But there is a limit, and if you don't post after every vote, the votes go down from 10g each to about 1g each.

Tate's Comics and Video Game Depot are the only ones that work now. All of the others give errors.
And I doubt that clicking on ads around the site gives you gold. They're turned off for donators and it doesn't make any sense to take a potential gold-earnig source away from those who help keep the site running.
