I've been thinking about DMing a campaign. But I'm not sure if I should, and if anyone would play. I mean, being on the forums has given me a little confidence, as I've been pretty aware of rules, and such, though not perfect. And since it's on a forum, I'd have plenty of time to look things up if I need to, and so on. I'd like to see who would play though. I would have limits on characters, and I would only play with a 4 player group, as I'm still inexperianced. I figure my limits will be no races with level adjustments, and only the main classes from the PHB (or prestige classes when you're able to get them). I'd also probably have starting level at 5. I like to start a little higher than 1st, so that players have reason to make a good, colorful background. So, If you would be willing to play, just tell me. If 4 people say they want to play, I'll get something ready. I'm also on alot, so I would be able to post alot, so it could be somewhat fast paced. So I need players who would be able to be on at least once a day for the most part. In Combat, if you don't respond for 2 days, your turn will be skipped though.

i'd be more then willing to play in a campaign and I'm fairly good with the rules, even though i haven't played all too much (and i've only DMed a little) so I could help ya along the way as could mostly everyone here who knows about DMing ^^;

well, I have the core rulebooks, and I've been reading them, getting ready to DM (my "group" IRL kinda sucks. Not that I've played with them in a long time or anything heh) But, I have Firefox, and the hypertext D20 search plugin, so rules shouldn't be a problem.

It's cool dude. anyone with newly formed ideas on campaigning and DMing should prove interesting in this forum.

Okay, I think I'm going try this. I mean, all the campaigns I'm in are going really slow. I need some prep time, but start thinking of your characters. I'm going to be playing Forgotten Realms, but characters are limited to classes from the PHB and prestiege classes if you fit all the requirements, but I'm probably going to start you at 5th level, so it's unlikely you will. Races are also limited to PHB (or Forgotten Realms...like, the different kinds of halflings, and so on.). I'll make a thread for character sheets, with all the specific rules and such.
