Hey, that reminds me... not to completely change the subject (cos the guy I'm about to talk about is Mormon), but I was over at my friend's (MachaKitten, actually -- the girl who cut her hand) and well, she's been watching "So You Think You Can Dance," that "American Idol" show but with dancers... hey, she's on a lot of painkillers, y'know? Anyway, one of the dudes on there was named Benji Schwimmer, and I was like, "Damn, y'know one of my mom's students back a few years ago was named Benji Schwimmer. Wouldn't it be crazy if that was him?"

Well, bit by bit they were saying things about him that made me go, "no way..." so after the show I called my mom, asked her how long ago she'd known Benji and if he was a dancer...

eek Dude. One of my mom's students is in the finals for that show. That was ******** surreal!

lol! Somehow the dichotomy of being a lit teacher on the food network just makes it extra wacky...
