dear goodness. this guy should take his show on the road. what a riot! neutral
so... the guy from national geographic is wrong because in stating that no one has seen a live dinosaur, that it is an opinion - not fact because he didn't receive the information from all possible primary sources... but this preacher is right because the bible says that there used to be water under the earth's crust? um... where are his primary resources?
blah... did anyone else think that the diagram of the earth (featuring the layer of water around the atmosphere) look like it had a tootsie roll center?
edit: *still watching*
oh my gosh! they clapped for "the question we should ask [as opposed to 'should we teach creationism in school?'] is should we have public schools?"
*sigh*
and it's reasonable for the age of the earth to increase as more information is obtained so that we can more accurately pinpoint its age. we don't know everything. that's god's job.

dali_kura dear goodness. this guy should take his show on the road. what a riot! neutral He does crying It's so unfair that he gets paid to spread lies like that. Quote: blah... did anyone else think that the diagram of the earth (featuring the layer of water around the atmosphere) look like it had a tootsie roll center? No ide what those are, but it reminded me of those diagrams of the earth magnetic field. Slightly. Quote: oh my gosh! they clapped for "the question we should ask [as opposed to 'should we teach creationism in school?'] is should we have public schools?" Showing of the attitudes of his key demographic quite nicely I though. Quote: and it's reasonable for the age of the earth to increase as more information is obtained so that we can more accurately pinpoint its age. we don't know everything. that's god's job. Hug me until the bad man goes away. crying please? Anyone?

Ok this guy is living in a fantasy land.... nothing he says has any kind of proof... he thinks that dinousaurs are just reptiles who lived and kept growing for a couple hundred years? Ya, ok... Dinosaurs are actually closer to birds then reptiles... What about the mamoths? Buffalos stop growing after a while....how do you explain that? There was water under the earth's crust? Has he been under a rock his whole life? does he not put into consideration the research being done on other planets? How they found traces of water on other planets suitable for life(BACTERIA, NOT HUMAN BEINGS) And the part where he was talking about the university professor...about how we came from a rock or soup....He said well where did that come from? and she said the oceans...and he said where did that come from etc....Ya, well where did we come from, adam and eve? Fine where did they come from, god? Ok well tell me, Where did god come from? Hmm? Oh he's always been there? oh ok....so hes just been sittin around forever and ever and ever, and one day he just decided to create the world? mhm ok.... I just dont understand why people would pay to listen to this guy talk....its just a bunch of opinions and unproven thoeries... scream

I make a point of discussing these issues irl whenever I get the chance, but most people simply don't care about our origins, at least that's what I've found in England.
Hell I don't care. It really doesn't matter. As far as I am concerned, abiogenesis is something that needs to be studied to help us detect life elsewhere in the universe; cosmological history needs to be studied so we can understand the geometry of spacetime and other potential dimensions. And most people don't really care about either of those things.
I'm anticreationist because I'm pedantic, and because creationism is just one aspect of an ignorant, bigoted agenda. I want people to think dagnammit!

oh ye gods. not this cockmunching idiot again. i've seen another one of his "videos" and i became physically ill after 11 minutes of it. This stupid old fart Blindly follows the bible like a carrot on a stick, if he were any denser i swear his head would collapse into a black hole.
If i found this man on the street id stab his moronic throat, men that stupid dont deserve to reproduce.
in his words: "today the earth is 70% water and mostly land" Case in point.
Also: "National pornographic"? im sure he has some bondage-whipped altar boy write his jokes for him.

doctorhobo Also: "National pornographic"? im sure he has some bondage-whipped altar boy write his jokes for him. XD That's terrible. What a prude. National Geographic has some of the best photography in the world. And guess what? The human body is art. Grrr... and that's ESPECIALLY hypocritical from a bible-thumper. God MADE the human body, and it's amazing! Ungrateful morons....

OK seriously I am 17 years old this guy looks to be about 50...and I know more than this idiot. 1 his theory on we came from rocks is stupid. His evidence? a science textbook said" there was no oxygen and the rocks absorbed it". That’s called a MIS PRINT ********! The fact remains that the atmosphere is comprised of hydrogen/nitrogen and oxygen....which makes water...which cools lava to make land....which allows life. 2. His thing about Campbell’s primordial soup was utter stupid ness! A soup is just a liquid with various stuff mixed in (if u don’t believe me, check out any soup). 3. This guy is the LAMEST joke teller ever! 4. he says that just because people drew pictures of these” dragons"(or dinosaurs) they must have existed. WRONG! There r many pics of unicorns and demons and gargoyles and trolls but have we ever SEEN THEM?! NO! It’s called IMAGINATION! And the part about the skin circles that’s called COINCIDENCE! 5. I'm shocked that he asked science professors at COLLEGE the whole rock thing and they couldn’t answer him! 6. And about should we have public schools thing. the answer is of course YES if u want ur kids to be smart and not STUPID like U R!7. And did u see his AUDEINCE?! They looked like idiots themselves! There weren’t any teens in the audience! that’s because we're too smart to fall for that old ******** tricks!(unless they got brainwashed, which is popular with religions) anyways I’m done ranting for now peace~

That's classic...just at the begining "How does he know no one has seen a live dinosaur? That's not science. The Bible says..."
I think playing a drinking game where you take a shot everytime he uses a strawman would be fun...although you might die of alcohol poisoning.
The fact that he questions public schools makes me wonder...and I don't know that we make Creationists "ask the wrong questions."
Does anyone know if only 3% of the earth is habitable? That sounds low to me...

Sounds very low. Probably more like 3% inhabited, based on land space used for urban areas. Rather than space usable for housing.

Wow. I'd really like to see the research and proof that the lifespan of the average human being "pre-flood" was 900 years. I'd also like to see how that correlation gets passed onto reptiles and animals, because I'm sure that all life for all species must scale so very well. How wondrous life must be.
I'm sorry, but the movies were just too absurd for me to watch all the way through. I watched the first 24 minutes of one....and it was just too much ridiculousness for me to handle. Maybe though...I'll summon enough spirit to watch them all. It does give good insight on the crazy thought-process of the creationist mind.
One must know an enemy in order to defeat them. I'm sure someone wise said something like that somewhere. Its so very true.
