(Hideaki Hisoki)

He eyed the target from the trees in which he was hiding. His all black clothing helping him to blend into the night around him. Best of all, his target didn't seem to know that he was there. He glanced at the other two members in his team and noticed that they were ready to retrieve the target as well.

After all, they had been tracking him for over a week before he finally settled down in a spot and they were able to keep their eyes on him easily. Man I hate it when they keep moving around. They could make this easier for me. He thought to himself as he started doing hand seals to do the hidden mist technique. Before he could though, the target had taken off.

He stopped the hand seals and motioned to his two teammates to move along either side of the target quietly so that he wouldn't notice. He himself would do his best to get ahead of the target. This trap always seemed to work in the past times that they had to do this. He had no doubt that it would work this time as well.

He was running along the side of one of the teammates he saw an opening to move on ahead of the target. He took that moment and ran ahead. When he was far enough ahead, he looked over his shoulder briefly and then started doing the hand seals once more. When he had just one more hand seal to do, he jumped out ahead and finished the hand seal.

"Kirigakure no Jutsu." He said quietly and looked as the mist was starting to appear. He himself had trouble seeing but he knew where the target was. The target however, did not know. As far as he knew, he had shown up suddenly and did his jutsu. He grabbed two kunai to use if he had to; although he highly doubted that he did.

He began to approach the target and stopped when he sensed someone coming up behind him. He held his hand up and made a slicing motion with his kunai to motion for the other two to stop. When he kept hearing the movement of feet, he turned around. It wasn't two pair of feet he was hearing. It was one pair.

Could it be the target? Where were the other members of his team? It didn't matter now. Right now he had to deal with taking down this target. If he didn't, then he did not want to know what would happen to him back in Mist. He had never failed to complete a mission yet and did not look forward to not completing one.

He took a step back so that he was out of arms reach. This had to be the target. There was no way that it was one of his team members. Did that mean that the target was a shinobi? He hadn't read anything about that. He hadn't been told anything about that. He knew what he could do. Tire down the opponent if it was a shinobi.

"Doro Bushin no jutsu." He saw two of the mud clones appear. Have fun with that. He jumped into a tree and watched from the tree. As he did, he released the mist techinque and watched the clones re-assemble themselves after they were hit. He just smirked. This was interesting. He raised a kunai and timed it just right so it looked like the clone had thrown it.

When he saw the opponent collapse to the ground, he jumped out of the tree making the clones disappear. He walked over to the unmoving body and knealt down. He checked the pulse and sighed. He rolled the body over and saw where the kunai had hit. Right where the heart was. He wasn't supposed to kill him, but it had happened and there was nothing that he could do about it now.

He picked the body up and noticed that his two team members were getting to their feet. From their view, it looked as though the man was unconscious. It wasn't until Hideaki walked past them that they realized he was dead. "Hideaki! He was supposed to be alive!" One of them commented.

He never stopped walking. "I know. It just happened." He said as he started to disappear in to the trees. He heard the two pairs of hurried feet and knew they were trying to catch up to him.

"You could have just left him there and all we had to do was to say that we couldn't find the target. It would be better than this." The same one that had spoken before said once they had caught up to him.

"I have never left the body and I never intend to. If you don't like it, then tell them next time so that you don't get teamed up with me. I usually don't have a team anyway." He turned to look at the other two. A glare very visable on his face. "I am the leader for this mission and you two will do as I say." He turned back around and started walking again.

Hideaki woke up from his sleep with a sigh. That had been a couple years ago. The only failed mission that he had. Ever since then, he had worked twice as hard to complete the mission and if the target was supposed to be alive, he made sure that the target was alive.

He stared at his cieling as he kneaded his hands together and placed them behind his head. I haven't had a mission in a few months now. He thought to himself as he just stared blankly at the black cieling. Black. It seemed everything with him involved black. His clothing was black and his room was black. He didn't care though. After a few moments of just laying there, he slowly started to slip back into sleep.

((First post both in Mist, and as my new RP character whee ))

Aura lay awake, staring at the ceiling of her apartment. It was so quiet... Eventually, she sighed and sat up in her bed. If she couldn't fall asleep, she would just go outside and train. She put her feet on the floor, stood up, stretched, and changed into new clothes. Heading outside, she sat down in a secluded area and meditated.

(Hisoki)

He opened his eyes a few moments later to some sort of sound. It sounded like something had crashed. "It had better not have fallen again." He said with a groan as sat up on the bed. He swung his legs over the edge and looked around the room. Nothing had fallen in the room.

He forced himself to get off the bed and start heading for the kitchen. He felt better now that he had gotten more sleep and he hadn't been plagued by another dream of a failed mission. If there was one thing he hated, it was that.

He put his hand on the door knob and turned it. The silver knob turned without a sound coming from it since he constantly kept it greased so it wouldn't. He opened the door and walked through the opening. He didn't bother to close it since he would be coming back to it later on in the day.

Since he was so short, he didn't have to worry about ducking to avoid hitting his head on the top of the doorframe. Something he was very happy about. He turned to his right and walked down a short hallway until he got to the kitchen. He walked through that doorframe and looked around. Sure enough, when he looked towards the back door, something had fallen.

Hideaki groaned as he walked towards it. "I don't even know why I bother with it." He picked up the blinds and placed them on the table. "If all it is going to do is fall, then I am just going to leave them off." After glaring at the blinds for a few minutes, he walked over to his cupboard that had is cups in it and took one out.

He walked over to his refrigerator and took out a gallon of water and poured some into the cup. When he had filled the cup three-quarters of the way, he set the jug down and put the cap back on it. He reopened the refrigerator and placed it on the top shelf and closed the door again. He turned so he was leaning against the counter and grabbed his cup.

Lifting it up to his mouth, he took a drink as he scanned the kitchen. It was his normal morning routine. He didn't have any reason to scan his own kitchen except for the fact that he was cautious. It must be his job. He always had to be on his toes in case something new suddenly happened.

When he had finished drinking the water, he placed the cup back on the counter and crossed his arms. "Since there is nothing else to do, guess I can go train." He said as he pushed off from the counter lightly and began heading back to his room.

He walked over to a grey chest that was located at the foot of his bed, the only thing that wasn't black, and squatted down on front of it. He put in the combination for the lock and opened it. When he was certain that the lid wouldn't come falling down on him, he let go of it and took out about five kunai, five shurikens, four explosive tags and three smoke bombs. Once he was through with that, he placed them on the ground and closed the lid to the chest. He put the lock back on it and mixed up the combination.

He walked over to his dresser and took his weapon pouch off the top of it. He knealt back down by the items he had removed and opened the pouch. He first picked up his kunai knives and placed them where he had two others, then he picked up the shurikens and placed them in an empt slot, then the explosive tags he put where he still had four in there and the smoke bombs where he had two others. "That should do for today."

He closed the pouch and then stood up with it in his hands. He placed it around his upper leg where he always wore it so it was hidden by the tail part of his shirt. The band that kept it on also blended in with the pants so it wasn't seen. He touched his forhead to make sure that his hetai-ate was there. It was. He then checked his back to make sure he had his katana. He did.

With one last scan of his room, he walked back through the opening where his door would normally be shut. This time he was heading towards his front door so he could go find a secluded spot to train. He put his hand on the silver door knob and turned it, this one also being silent, and opened the door. Unlike his bedroom door, this one he shut and locked once he was on the other side of it.

He turned around and began heading towards his normal training spot. It was quiet so he could focus and not many people knew about it. As far as he knew, he was the only one that knew about it. As he walked, he passed by a food stand and ignored his growling stomache. After I train for a bit.

He walked by some kids playing with a ball. When the ball came his way, he caught it and just threw it back to the children. That was one thing about him that most people never saw. He actually liked children. He might not be caught playing with them, but he wouldn't do anything to harm them if he could avoid it.

When one of the little boys smiled at him, he gave a small smile back. It wasn't that noticable, but apparently the little boy saw it because he smiled even wider before turning to play with his friends once more. Hideaki hadn't stopped walking, but he had slowed down. Now, since he was facing in the direction that he had inteneded on going, he started walking at his normal pace again.

After a few minutes, he emerged from behind some worn out buildings and saw someone else there. He quickly opened his pouch and pulled out a kunai. He had his katana that he could use, but he didn't want to use that unless this person meant to cause him harm. From the looks of it, she was a Mist shinobi, but he couldn't see her hetai-ate clearly.

He took a quiet step forward and stopped. She seemed to be meditating. He focused on her hetai-ate. Yeah, she's a Mist shinobi. How did she know about this place? Did she accidentally stumble upon it like I did? He asked himself as he relaxed a little. He straightened up more, but he was still ready to throw the kunai if he had to.

Aura felt more than heard someone approach, and she opened her eyes, hands ready to grab a kunai if needed. She watched the fellow Mist shinobi as he stood there.

"You know... it's not polite to stare," she pointed out, standing up and brushing herself off. "It's really rude."

(Hisoki)

He watched her as she seemed ready to do something. So she is cautious as well. A smirk came over his face. "Judging by how you reacted, I would say you are at least a Chunnin, am I right?" He watched as she brushed herself off.

His hand disappeared under the back of his shirt only to reappear again a moment later empty. She may be cautious, but she isn't an enemy. He knew that he would be able to get to his weapons quickly if he had to, but he didn't think that he would. At least, not right away anyway.

((Still longer than mine sweatdrop ))

"Yes... and I'm assuming you are too," she said, looking him up and down. He didn't look like he would be too much of a threat, but still... you could never be too cautious around fellow shinobi.

((I am used to making posts like my other two))

(Hisoki)

"Yes I am." He looked her over quickly before he glanced around him. His senses were alert like they always were when he was outside of his house. It's my job. He told himself with a sigh.

He glanced back at her after a few moments. "How did you come across this place? I thought I was the only one who knew about it." Although, I haven't been here in a while so it may be known to many people now.

((Oh, I see ^^))

Aura shrugged. "I was wandering around, and I found it. I've mostly been using it for training. And you? How did you find this place?" she asked, mildly curious. It wasn't that hard of a place to find, but there were a few turns that made it difficult to reach.

(Hisoki)

"I stumbled upon it when I was a kid." He said as he placed one hand on his side and stood there calmly. "It seems that we use it for the same reason." He lowered his hand and let it just hang there like his other arm was doing.

"So you came here to train too, huh? Want to spar? I'm Aura, by the way." Aura stepped forward and held out her hand to the boy. This might be interesting...
PostPosted: Tue Jul 11, 2006 12:55 pm

(Hisoki)

"I have nothing else to do." He said with a shrug as he closed his eyes. He opened them a moment later to see her outstretched hand. He had heard her ask if he wanted to spar and he thought about it. It would probably be good to train against someone else. "Sure." He said as he reached his own arm out after taking a couple steps forward and placed his hand in hers. "My name is Hideaki."

He never broke eye contact since he knew that if you did, you would lose whatever advantage you had. His eyes had gone serious and looked cold. The abyss, which is what his eyes looked like and he had been told that they were an abyss, seemed to go on forever.

"Nice to meet you, Hideaki. Would you like to make the first move?" asked Aura politely, stepping back while still keeping eye contact. She reached into her weapon pouch and withdrew a senbon between each finger as she waited for his response.
